Obama Blows Up: ‘This may bring my presidency down but I will not yield’
U.S. President Barack Obama threw a hissy fit by storming out of debt talks at a White House meeting yesterday — and it’s the talk of Washington this morning.
In his three turbulent years as president, Mr. Obama has shown a propensity for throwing tantrums when he doesn’t get his way. And yesterday was no different.
Negotiations were described as “testy” and “tough” as Mr. Obama butted heads with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on the fifth straight day of debt talks.
During one tense exchange, Mr. Obama compared himself to beloved former president Ronald Reagan when he asked Cantor “Would Ronald Reagan be sitting here?”
What he meant was, ‘would Ronald Reagan have to sit here and put up with this sh*t? Why should I?’
Mr. Obama added: “I’ve reached my limit. This may bring my presidency down, but I will not yield on this.” The cantankerous president then stood up and stormed out of the meeting, leaving mouths hanging open.
Mr. Cantor attempted to smooth things over while talking with reporters at the Capitol after he left the White House.
Mr Cantor said the president had “backed away” from spending cuts agreed to earlier because of pressure from Democrats in Congress.
He said the two sides were far from agreement on a $2.4 trillion package of deficit cuts that would allow the Treasury to borrow through the next election.
Mr. Obama has previously threatened to halt the distribution of Social Security checks, in addition to stopping welfare and EBT checks from going out after August 2nd.

@ Ms DeeDee If I didnt watch the news and know for myself I would take seriously what Sandra wrote, but the only thing I can say is pay attention to whats going on, it will affect you. And remind me why he wants to be president again..it just doesnt seem worth it anymore to me.

My Question currently is when did it become ok to address the President as Mr. Obama? You dont hear anyone calling GWB Mr. Bush, they address his as Former President Bush.

I agree Aye_Jay, I learned in elementary school that a President shall always be called President __________, even when his presidency is over. Just like a Doctor shall always be called Dr. Calling them “Mr.” is very disrespectful.
…but John Boehner can take his ball and run home during the debt talks, and nobody got sh*t to say.

I was reading Russell Simmons tweets and he was saying how he is RICH and he wouldn’t mind paying more taxes.
