Lil Wayne’s Dancers Charged With Beating Up Waitress
Two of rapper Lil Wayne’s ghetto dancers were arrested and charged with assaulting a waitress during a dispute over splitting a check at a P.F. Chang’s resturant.
Della Hamby, 26, (top) of North Hollywood, Calif., and Jennifer Slaughter, 24, of Auburn Hills, Mich., were charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
According to the Hartford Courant, Hamby, Slaughter, and another woman who was not charged attacked the waitress because she advised them that they should have asked to be allowed to split the check at the beginning of the meal and not at the end.
The women paid and left, but they later returned to retrieve a cell phone that one had left behind. They swore at the waitress and threatened her. Then, witnesses told police, one pulled the waitress’s hair while the other punched her. They threw the waitress to the floor and continued punching her, police said.
The third patron did not participate in the beating, police said. The waitress sustained minor injuries. A worker at the restaurant said Monday that she was OK.
Police found the suspects across New Britain Avenue from the mall, in front of the Old Navy store.
A spokeswoman for P.F. Chang’s said she could not comment on the incident because “this is an active investigation.” West Hartford police said Monday their investigation into the incident was closed with the arrests of Slaughter and Hamby.
Tia Mowry is writing a book on motherhood
Tia Mowry, one half of Hollywood’s best known black twin stars, is writing a book on motherhood after giving birth only a couple of weeks ago. Talk about narcissistic?
Mowry, 32, took to her Twitter page yesterday to deliver the news to her followers:
“Great News!!!!! I am now an AUTHOR!!! I am writing a BOOK! So excited about this new adventure! More news to follow!!! xoxo I am working with Penguin Group, 4 my first book, Oh, Baby!, n which I share the experiences of my first pregnancy & the tips I’ve learned. This is something I have always wanted to do and I am thrilled to share this journey with all my fans:),”
I hate to laugh at this chick, but can she really write a book on motherhood after giving birth only 2 weeks ago? Now she’s an expert on motherhood? That’s rather grandiose of Tia to think people would buy a book about her birthing experiences while we’re in a recession. Couldn’t she cover her birthing experience and all the tips she learned in one blog post?
Tia and her twin sister Tamera, also have a new reality show set to premiere next month.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show will cover Tia’s pregnancy and Tamera’s engagement to Fox News correspondent Adam Housely. Tia is an executive producer of the series along with her manager, Adam Griffin.
Halle Berry’s Stalker Returns; Gets Arrested

Halle Berry’s stalker, 27-year-old Richard Franco, is determined to get face time with the superstar actress — even if that means spending a few days behind bars for his troubles.
According to TMZ.com, the man who terrified Halle Berry after she caught him peeking in her window over the weekend, returned to her Hollywood Hills home late Monday night — and this time police busted him on the scene.
Law enforcement sources say the man jumped over the back wall at Halle’s home right around 11PM Monday night. This time her private security — off-duty police officers — were watching the suspect on a security camera as he entered the grounds.
They quickly nabbed the guy and called LAPD officers to the scene — who arrested and booked him on suspicion of felony stalking.
We’re told police believe this is the same man Halle spotted in her backyard Saturday and Sunday … prompting an all out search for the suspect.

In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies, Episode 6
Last night’s episode of VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ came close to jumping the shark. That’s a term that’s used to describe a television series that loses its credibility (along with its audience) due to its ludicrous and ill-thought-out script.
‘Single Ladies’ stars Stacey Dash (Val), LisaRaye McCoy (Keisha) and Charity Shea (April) as three friends, living in Atlanta, who have different views on sex and relationships.
The episode started going downhill (for me) when Keisha saved a groupie who was about to get smashed by a stranger (the groupie was high off ecstasy). Keisha takes the girl home only to find out that the groupie is the sister of Keisha’s boyfriend Malcolm (D.B. Woodside). I mean, come on. How long has Keisha been dating Malcolm? Yet she’s never met his sister or even heard him speak of her?
Does anybody know why this girl Tahiry is famous?
I keep hearing this name Tahiry, but I have no clue what she does for a living? Is she one of those video girls who catapulted to fame because she found good caulk that doesn’t leak? Or is she famous because she did somersaults and landed on some rapper’s peen? I’m just asking, because apparently, you don’t need any kind of talent to be famous and host parties in nightclubs these days.
Tahiry hosted the Heineken Red Star Access Presents G.O.O.D. Music Event in Atlanta featuring Cyhi da Prynce (whoever that is) and Pusha T (at least I know who he is) at Club Echelon 3000 on Friday (July 8) in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

50 Cent, Shawty Lo, Jai Jai on set of music video
Rap mogul 50 Cent recently signed rapper Shawty Lo to his G-Unit roster though D4L. Fiddy flew to Atlanta over the weekend to shoot a music video for Lo’s first single. Local rapper Jai Jai also appears in the music video. As you know, Shawty Lo left his longtime love, and baby mama, E’Creia to get back with Jai Jai who he met when the latter was only 15.
Jai Jai always said she would get her man even though he was with E’Creia. The two ladies occasionally fought over him. Jai Jai told everyone she would get him back, but most of her friends thought she was crazy. They’re not thinking that now.

Congratulations to Shannon Brown and Monica for tying the knot for a second time in front of family and friends on Saturday!
As you know, Mo and Shannon married in secret at their California home in November of last year. This time around, they invited hundreds of guests to watch them jump the broom!
First, I want to address all the lies that began filtering out just minutes after the couple said “I do.”
Yes, Monica and Shannon’s good friends, Khloe and Lamar Odom missed the wedding due to circumstances beyond their control.
The reason Khloe wasn’t there was because she and Lamar had a death in the family. Lamar’s cousin was murdered the night before the wedding and they had to drop everything and fly back to the East Coast. Everybody at the wedding knew about the tragedy. Monica has spoken to Khloe and Khloe told her she would have given anything to attend Mo’s special day.
Khloe told friends “I would never want anybody to think I would just miss their wedding.”
Khloe is very down to earth, and the two women are very close. Khloe always looked after ‘Melo and Lil Rocko at the Lakers games. The friends actually met before Monica met Shannon. Our condolences go out to Khloe and Lamar.
There was also a rumor that Kobe’s wife, Vanessa, didn’t attend the wedding.
Not only was Kobe’s wife the first one at the wedding, but she stepped up to fill Khloe’s role once she found out what had happened! Vanessa took a helicopter from Kobe’s basketball camp in Santa Barbara to be in the wedding.
Monica’s friend Keyshia Cole wasn’t there because she is currently on tour.
Even by Hollywood’s standards, security was extremely tight. Yes, guests were asked to walk through metal detectors at the wedding. That was because more than 40 of the invitations were stolen prior to the wedding, and Monica wanted to make sure her invited guests were safe since they were in downtown Los Angeles.
In contrast to T.I. and Tiny’s wedding where inconsiderate guests uploaded grainy photos to Twitter.com, Monica and Shannon made sure their wedding was paparazzi and Twitter-free. The Exclusive photos of the wedding will be released next week when Mo and Shannon return from their honeymoon!
Speaking of which, Mo’s cousin Ludacris could not attend the wedding because he was performing in concert out of state.
But Luda’s girlfriend Fab was one of Mo’s bridesmaids. And Luda ordered his pilot to gas up his private jet to fly Monica and Shannon to their surprise honeymoon from Atlanta this morning (Shannon and Mo don’t even know where they’re going)!
