Singer Keri Hilson was spotted outside the New York offices of Elle magazine yesterday. Is it just us or does Keri look distraught? Yesterday we reached out to Keri Hilson's camp to offer words of encouragement after she was unmercifully dragged all over the social networking site Twitter.com for tweeting an insensitive message about deceased singer Amy Winehouse.
If anyone knows how it feels to be brutally ripped apart on Twitter for no reason, it's your auntie. Unfortunately, we couldn't get through to anyone in Keri's camp, but we'll keep trying. Hold your head up, girl!
Kim Kardashian was spotted leaving the Agent Provocateur store in Los Angeles, California yesterday with a huge gold shopping bag full of goodies. The store accommodated the soon-to-be wife of NBA star Kris Humphries by opening up after hours just so she could shop in peace (and spends thousands of dollars in reality TV show cash).
One of rap mogul Sean Combs' concubines, Kim Porter, was seen leaving the Villa Blanca restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA where she dined with friends yesterday. The 45-year-old beauty spends her days leisurely shopping for trinkets while her brood are in school. Porter and her kids live in a 9,655-square-foot, six bedroom mansion that Combs purchased for her in Toluca Lake, California.

Songstress Mariah Carey-Cannon loves everything about her Marriah Carey Collection. The Diva spent 8 hours on the Home Shopping Network hawking her wares earlier this week. Some say she was drunk on live television, but it may just be that Carey was drunk off the sweet smell of success? Her exclusive collection of Target-style clothing, shoes and fragrances are selling quite well, thank you.
Anyway, Rich over at fourfour blog (he also writes for the VH1 entertainment blog) put together this 5-minute clip of the hundreds of times Carey mentions the word "love" during the show. Enjoy.

They were with her 'til the end: Amy Winehouse's five bodyguards took turns guarding her while she was alive. But they couldn't save her when Winehouse, 27, died of a drug overdose early Saturday in her $4 million London flat. Yesterday, the day of her funeral, the 5 men joined together one last time to accompany her body to the Golders Green crematorium where she was cremated, per Jewish custom. Afterwards, they posed with a box containing her ashes.
The man in the center of the photo is Andrew Morris, the bodyguard who found Amy's lifeless body in her bed on Saturday. He's the one who called for an ambulance, though no one could save her. An autopsy performed on Winehouse the day after her body was found was inconclusive.
It's a wonder how singer Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, the father of her 5 children, managed to stay together all these years. They seem to be two extremely immature, self-centered individuals. Marley, who is seeing someone else now, has always denied being the father of Hill's latest seed. And several days after Hill, 36, gave birth to her sixth child -- a boy -- Marley, the son of reggae legend Bob, took to his Twitter page to congratulate his baby mama -- and to fan the flames of speculation:
“I’m forwarding all well wishes to Ms. Hill on the birth of her new son. I’m sure she’ll appreciate the love being sent to her RASTAFARI R.M.
Two days later, Hill took to her Twitter page to respond to the rampant rumors and innuendo with a message that only added to the confusion:
Mr. Marley and I have a long and complex history about which MANY inaccuracies have been reported since the beginning. To speculate without the facts can only cause people to form WRONG conclusions. We both value privacy and for that reason defend and preserve our right to it. Contrary to the numerous reports, Mr. Marley did not abandon me while pregnant with his child. We have had long periods of separation over the years but our 5 children together remain a joy to both of us. Thank you for your concern and I appreciate all of the well wishes regarding the birth of my new son. Until next time, Ms. Hill.”
Kelly Rowland's CD, Here I Am, is in stores today, and the sexy siren covers the August/September issue of Vibe magazine! Inside, she discusses spicing up her sensual side by visiting sex shops, and and her split from her former manager, Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles.
When you walked away from that last meeting with Mathew, did you feel an “exhale” moment?
I did, but I also felt like, 'Oh my God, what have I done?!' I stayed in the house for two days. I was sad. It was like a funeral. I had to deaden that situation in order to start fresh. That’s a very long time to have the same manager and the same label.
What about your personal relationship with Mathew Knowles. Do you still talk to him?
Mathew sent me flowers for my birthday!
But do you talk to him?
It’s... I respect him above anything.

Paparazzi over in Saint Tropez snapped photos of newlywed honeymooners Chris Bosh and Adrienne Bosh at Club 55 today. The couple were married in a private civil ceremony earlier this year but they made it official at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach last week with a splashy $300,000 wedding in front of 300 guests. Congrats to them.
So men really don't care that their women's cakes are as fake as all get out?

The White House today released uncensored, personal photos of the Obama family as they look ahead to their return to life as ordinary private citizens next year. It has been a tense 2 weeks in Washington for President Obama. The photos show the strain of the debt ceiling crisis etched on his face. Earlier today, alarming poll numbers confirmed Obama has lost his core base (young White voters) who helped put him in the White House.
Update: Raquel Nelson, who was convicted by a jury this month of vehicular homicide for jaywalking when her son was killed by a hit-run driver, was given probation and 40 hours of community service today. Nelson could have received a 3-year prison sentence, which was a stiffer sentence than the 6 months the driver was given. (Thanks LaTechGrad02 for the tip!)
