Alicia Keys isn’t a big enough star to cover Glamour Magazine alone
No matter how highly Alicia Keys thinks of herself, she isn’t a big enough star to grace the cover of GLAMOUR magazine by herself. The gangsta B-list singer, who used to wear a gold AK47 rifle on a chain around her neck, shares the October 2011 cover with A-list actresses Demi Moore (Ashton’s wife), and Jennifer Aniston.
On why her time in Egypt (the country) inspired her to create a baby:
“It was a time of transition. There were certain people [I was working with] who weren’t right. I had friends who weren’t right anymore. I was tired and I had overworked myself and burnt myself out. So I went to Egypt by myself. When I saw what was built there, it made me understand how powerful we are, that we can create anything. And I felt like I needed to create things that were timeless too.” Source

Both Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore were bigger stars in their day than Alicia Keys has been at the peak of her career so if anyone would be insulted it should be Jennifer since she has a better career than the other two.

Sorry, but to be on the cover and thought of as an equal with those women is a hell of an accomplishment. At one point each one of them was the IT white girl.

I agree with what someone said in one of the Beyonce posts. Sandra writes these types of posts because she knows they will generate lots of hits even if it’s folks saying she is wrong. A hit is a hit which is good for her site but it seems-IMO-people are getting tired of the snide remarks. Some of the stuff is cringe worthy

These women are totally equally yoked with Jennifer being the weakest link. She certainly has not had the biggest career. She was a TV actress on a successful show with an ensemble cast. Other than all the talk about her hairstyle, she didn’t outshine her castmates. Try as she might she has been a box office flop, but they keep giving her opportunities for some reason. Demi Moore was the female Will Smith/Tom Cruise of her day. Halle Berry hasn’t even reached her level let alone Jen. Aniston doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence really.
I’m not sure if we are forgetting or if we are not giving Alicia credit because she’s black and a singer, but She has yet to put out a CD that came anywhere close to flopping. I can’t say with 100% certainty, but my guess is every album she has released has gone platinum. She is a headliner. You won’t see her opening for anyone unless she chooses to be charitable in that way. She is an A-Lister and better at what she does than Jen is at what she does.

This is sadly true. And they keep rubbing it in her face dont they…All the kids are cute, even the ones that are technically theirs.
