Celebs Out & About: Halle Berry, Akon, Solange Knowles
Here is a rare picture of Senegalese singer Akon with his beautiful wife (or one of his wives, if you believe the polygamy rumors). The couple were spotted riding Segway bikes with friends on Miami Beach yesterday. It’s good to see they’re still together. Some of you longtime loyal readers will remember Akon’s wife from years gone by when I had my popular gallery on Sandrarose.net. After I revealed her existence Exclusively in my old gallery in 2006, she had someone call me to request that I remove all of her pictures. Akon has always said he wanted to keep his wife (or wives) and all of his children out of the public eye. But that’s kind of hard to do when you’re a superstar. OK, I’m rambling.
Solange Knowles and her son Daniel Julez Smith, Jr. attend the INC International Concepts announcement at Open House Gallery. Solo’s “stylist” June Ambrose was looking ridiculous as usual. If you’re going to be a stylist your so-called “styles” should not be offensive to the eye. We’re overjoyed that Solo threw away that horrid afro wig she used to wear in favor of showcasing her own healthy, natural tresses.
Halle Berry’s explosive anger disorder was on display again yesterday when Halle Berry arrived to pick up her daughter Nahla from a private pre-school. Halle shamelessly yelled and cursed at the paparazzi who came too close for her liking. These explosive episodes are becoming all too frequent as it’s obvious that the paparazzi know what buttons to push to make her angry.

Get close to my kid and I would go off on you too. It is called the “Momma Bear Sydrome”. Sandra if you have no kids then you can’t even understand how she feels. You HAVE to be a mother!
What the paps do is STALKING and I would cuss their ass out every chance I got. If that was reg person they would be arrested but since they have a camera it’s ok for them to follow complete strangers around and harass the sh*t out of them, take pictures of them and their family without consent, and sit outside their house waiting for the perfect photo.

Well now I understand why Solo dresses so tacky smh and what kind of shoes are those her son is wearing? Those things are horrid! I can understand why Halle gets upset with the paps, even though she is a celebrity you have to admit sometimes the pic snapping is a little extreme. Can we really fault her for wanting her child to have a normal life without the cameras always around? If little Nahla grows up and decided that she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become an actress/model that should be her decision to make and not society’s, I think some of these children are forced into that lifestyle because if ish like this.

I met his wife and she is the same person in the above picture. He introduced her to me as his wife and she said she was his wife. I also met his sister and they do resemble each other. That same year I met her she appeared in an issue of VIBE magazine talking about their foundation.

Those are two different women you can tell by the nose. That is Akon’s sister not his wife. Anyway there is another woman riding with Akon and his sister. The other woman is one of his wives.

Me three. I did not have an opinion before because I just did not know off hand, but looking at those photos, it does not look like the same person. The photo was taken 2006, 5 years ago and look at the girl in the new photo, she is too young to be the same person, never mind the different skin tone and features not matching. Just saying.

Hello All. Love me some Solange and her style, and I love, love, LOVE her afro. Speaking of afros, I was just walking down Penn Ave, just blks from the U.S. Capitol and saw a beautiful, tall, shapely black woman who was rocking this huge afro, a beautiful bronze color with highlights, and it wasn’t a wig. She had on some fierce shoes, skinny jeans, carrying a large designer bag and cropped top. Boy, was she stepping, u know I had to give her her props! So natural, just a hint of makeup, a classy woman, just like Solange COMES across, a young, classy woman, from where I sit.
Family, have a great day and keep your head to the sky. As I said, the sh!t hasn’t begun to hit the fan, yet, especially if you’re a federal worker. God help us all!
