Artist manager and music executive Phillana Williams celebrated her birthday at Salon Millesime last night in New York City. As you know, Phillana started out as Ciara’s manager. But before that she was an assistant at the now defunct LaFace Records in Atlanta. LaFace is responsible for establishing the careers of so many movers and shakers in the music industry! Many of whom came out last night to support Phillana!

I knew that was Miguel’s girlfriend in his new video “Quickie” because she was the only one in color while all the other women and him were in black & white. She got to be all special and be solo at the very end too so she can stand out. She is really pretty. I love his voice and all his singles so far, I need to buy his CD. He reminds me of the good music of the early to mid 90′s. For some reason his music reminds me of Babyface, who I really miss.
