New Music: Waka Flocka Flame – Round of Applause
We’re not fond of rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s drug culture lifestyle, but we do like his music. “Round of Applause” (produced by Lex Luger) is the first single off Waka’s Triple F Life album, dropping soon. His lyrics may be vulgar but Waka’s music is good fun.
We’re sure we’ll hear this track in heavy rotation tonight at @Tracye_BigDeal‘s birthday bash at Kamals21 nightclub in Atlanta. If you know about Tracye’s party then you must be a pretty big deal! And as the name suggests, you must be 21 to partake of the entertainment.

Celebs Out & About: La La and Carmelo Anthony, Kelly Rowland
Multimedia personality Lala Vasquez and her NBA star hubby Carmelo Anthony were seen leaving Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills, California last night. The two seemed chummy despite the rumors we’ve been hearing about La La’s past coming back to haunt her. If you’re planning on watching “La La’s Full Court Life” when it premieres on August 22, pay close attention to the interactions between La La, her stud cousin, Dice, and Ciara. We’ll talk more about that later.
Singer Kelly Rowland and her longtime manager/boyfriend, Tim Weatherspoon, joined La La and Carmelo for dinner at Matsuhisa restaurant last night. We see that Kelly loves her Chanel. Our paparazzi friends tell us that she warmly agreed to take photos by herself whilst walking to her car. But the astute paps have finally caught on that Kells and Weatherspoon are an item. So they snapped pics of Kelly and Tim in their car too. Can you tell who wears the pants in that relationship?

Jonesboro Bans Sagging Pants
Last week, while shopping at Lenox Square mall here in Atlanta, we noticed there were far fewer thugs wearing their pants sagging off their butts.
This new change could be attributed to the fact that gaggles of gay men descend upon Lenox Mall in droves every weekend — and, they too, wear their pants sagging off their butts.
So you can imagine the dilemma faced by young girls who can’t tell the difference between the thugs they admire and the gays who admire the thugs.
The hilarious result is that more and more thugs are pulling their pants up these days to set themselves apart from the gays who roam the malls admiring them.
But that didn’t stop the Jonesboro City Council from approving a new ordinance to ban everyone from wearing sagging pants. That includes the gays and straights.
“People in Jonesboro don’t want to look at other people’s drawers,” said Mayor Luther Maddox, according to AJC.com.
The mayor noted that our young people’s lack of home training was affecting tourism in Jonesboro, a suburb just south of Atlanta.
“Jonesboro is home to ‘Gone with the Wind’,” said Maddox. “We get visitors from all over the world, and we don’t need to show them our underwear.”
We concur.

There was a time, way back in the day, when wardrobe stylists were only responsible for the costumes that artists wore onstage or in movies. Then someone got the bright idea to dress artists 24/7.
Former Pu$$ycat Doll member Nicole Scherzinger attended the 2011 Fox TCA All-Star party in Malibu wearing a pair of Alexander Wang Britt leather buckle sandals ($725). They feature an all leather upper and sole on a 4.5 inch heel detailed with multiple straps and buckle closures, according to UpscaleHype.com.

Kelly Rowland finally comes clean about her boo… sort of (video)
Earlier we told you that “Motivation” singer Kelly Rowland is living with her manager, Tim Weatherspoon, whom she’s been dating for at least a couple of years now. But every time she was asked about her man, Kelly denied she was in a relationship. She even told a British tabloid that she had a “a friend with benefits,” which made no sense.
This past weekend, Rowland performed at the 4sixty6 club in West Orange, NJ. After her performance, she sat down with All Eyes On Who, and she was asked point blank if she had a special someone.
“Um, there is someone special, and I’ll keep it at that,” Kelly responded reluctantly.
Celebs Out & About: Keri Hilson
While Lil Wayne partied at Compound nightclub on Saturday night, Keri Hilson, who opened for Weezy in concert at Aaron’s Amphitheater, hosted her own throw down at Mansion nightclub on the West side.
Keri and her homegirls, including former SR Morning Glory Candice Stevenson, held it down in the aptly named Rosewood room at Mansion. Keri may not be able to hold a note but she is definitely a sight for sore eyes to see!

In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies & BBQ Wives Season Finale’s
Last night’s final episode of VH1′s “Single Ladies” went out with a bang after limping through scenes that looked like they were thrown together at the last minute.
The final episode aired amid rumors that the show’s star, Stacey Dash, was fired by executive producer Queen Latifah weeks ago. Those rumors tie in with reports that surfaced before the season premiere about Dash falling out with her SL co-star LisaRaye McCoy.
Dash didn’t address the rumors on her Twitter page last night. But she did urge her 145,000 followers to tune into the show’s final.
