Remember when Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas was suspended by the league for pulling a gun on a player in the locker room during an argument over a gambling debt last January?

Well, that player, Javaris Crittenton, is wanted by police in connection with the drive-by shooting death of a 23-year-old woman on an Atlanta street last week.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Javaris Crittenton will be charged with homicide in the death of Jullian Jones.

Jones was walking with two men near 2915 Macon Drive in southwest Atlanta around 10 p.m. Aug. 19 when she was shot, according to Carlos Campos, APD spokesman. Jones, a mother of three, was struck in the hip and later died during surgery.

The two men walking with Jones fled and were not injured.

Police say Jones was not the intended target. Crittenton may have been seeking retaliation after he was the victim of a robbery on April 21, 2011, Campos said.

and I doubt the surgery led to her death but even in the event that it did, he still directly contributed to this woman dying when his trigger happy azz shot into a group of people

My prayers to the young lady and her family...this is again another senseless homicide. HOWEVER..I am shocked to hear this was a NBA basketball player that was involved and possibly the killer. What a disappointment....

The bullet in her waist could have damaged to flow of blood to her heart-artery. Need more details, the story is vague. Gang mentality in the NBA has a couple of guys stuck on thug life. Did he drive his luxury vehicle in the hood to find the alleged thefts and shoot out the driver's side window into a crowd of people OR was he the driver and his passenger shoot out the window OR did he pay somebody to get at the guys who robbed him? Can he really be this stupid... RIP mother of four.
