Rapper 50 Cent burst onto the rap scene in a blaze of glory in 2003, with the Blessings of Eminem and Dr. Dre. It’s amazing how money, and a huge unchecked ego, can destroy a man’s creativity. This latest garbage off his upcoming album was actually leaked — probably by Fiddy himself. When no one seemed to notice the leak, 50 made a lot of noise about leaking Dr. Dre’s Detox track “Psycho”, which got everyone’s attention.

On this pathetic track, 50 brags about his money, jewelry and million dollar cars backed up by an annoying Garage Band beat. “I’m On It” is a classic example of what happens when artists lose their hunger for their craft.

IMO, someof thse fools rap themselves into a corner and can only be successful for so long. Why do you think Master P and No Limit, Plies and DMX put out 40 cd’s in 30 days? Get it while the getting is good…..Wayne, Jay, Eminem.. reinvented and still getting good money.

Fifty on the other hand has never reinvented himself and is now only rapping about the stuff he bought with his hustling story millions….and his boyfriend.

I promised my heart stopped for a bit, but when I didn’t see the year span listed I realized that it was sarcasm…and ummm, yeah, this track is wack, but the beat is catchy which means it may have some success in this watered down industry…

I’m not even going to waste my time listening to it because everything he’s released since the G Unit disbanded has been garbage. Karma is a bish and it looks like it has finally come back to Curtis, he mistreated a lot of people and did a lot of bad ish, you cannot be evil and expect to prosper that’s not how life works. I used to be a big Fiddy fan but his attitude and total disregard for his fans turned me away so I don’t feel the least bit sorry for him!

@bird….I totally agree with you. When i listened to it i felt the same way. The beat and flow were good, but it is the same things, money , cars etc. He is trying to got back to 2003, but he is beyond that era. But when he does try to change up he gets slack so it seems like a no win situation for him. Well at least he not going of of the game broke like some others.
