HawthoRNe Cancelled After three Seasons
TNT has cancelled the hospital drama HawthoRNe after two seasons, according to Inside TV. TNT decided not to renew the show for a 3rd season after receiving consistently negative reviews.
“TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved,” the network said in a statement. “The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show’s talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best.”
The show probably didn’t work out because the concept of a hospital nurse administrator (Jada Pinkett-Smith) who brings her personal problems to work just didn’t fly with the TV audience.
No nurse would be willing to work under a nurse administrator who is constantly making out with the hot doctors. Nurses and doctors are far too busy saving lives to have sex with each other in broom closets.

The show was just getting good!! I loved her and Marc together. I also loved watching my boo Derek Luke.
Wow.. I guess they finally listened to the fans. I hated this season but loved all the others. I think they felt like this one was the last because it was ALL over the place with the writing. Jada

@Daisy, I wanted to see who shot Marc too. I don’t like cliffhanger cancellations. Lol. That was just unfair.
As for the chemistry with her and Tom, it was kinda forced. Now her and Marc was really intense lol.I think that helped kill the show, especially with all the divorce drama.
Hawthrone sucked…and as I healthcare professional…There are doctors and nurses that get it in…often!!!
Yes Drs and nurses get it in often my sisters is a nurse and says the VA hospital is just like Greys

I saw one episode, it was ok, kinda boring, but no different than anything else on TV..
At first I was gonna blame the network, but TNT is pretty good..I watch sex in the city on that station

My sister is a nurse, and doctor’s and nurses GET IT IN…MARRIED OR NOT….
Her best friend(who is a nurse) left her husband and kids for one of the doctors. Her husband called the hospital, on the day that she was supposed to be working and found out that she does not work on TUESDAYS….he found out that she was smashing one of the doctors for about a year. lolololol. I enjoyed Hawthrone, the fans are a bit upset.

There was a whole slew of unrealistic ish on this show. I watched one season, but the second season started out so fake that they lost me at the 2nd episode.

I think the producers presents the network with a finished product (the shows) and the network decides if they want to put the shows on their program schedule.

Right right. But I’m saying if the executive producers didn’t want to keep going they could choose to end it couldn’t they? The show is something they do together. Maybe they are dissolving shat. If they did get divorce I wonder if people would hate Jada when she takes half of everything. Hundreds of millions worth of loot probably.

It’s not dating yourself, my kids can watch the same shows I grew up watching, thanks to re runs. Since I love Lucy has been on the air, it has never been off the air. It has always been in re runs somewhere.
The FEW PEOPLE I know that watched it before said IT SUCKS!!! And they think “The Game” SUCKS ALSO

A lot of people complained about Season 4 of The Game, but I LOVE that show! Can’t wait until January 2012. I can’t get enough even though I’ve seen the reruns 100′s of times.

nurses & doctors get it in all the time at my job, but they do so on their own time… meaning at lunch.
I tried to get into the show, but it never worked for me cause Jada’s acting sucked. She’s horrible.
This was actually a pretty good show. I liked it.
Talented actors, good story line PLUS a nice flow of guest actors like Chi McBride, Derek Luke, D.B. Woodside.
I definitely fear that divorce is in the air…or atleast in the vicinity. Hope not. Either way truly unfortunate for both…the Smiths and the Hawthorne cast.
As far as nurses and doctors being too busy saving lives to have sex…. On what PLANET?? Are you kidding me? Sex between nurses and doctors is as REGULAR an occurrence as scheduling an OR room. Seriously.

Maybe Hawthrone should haved moved to Showtime or HBO and juiced up the storyline?

Glad it’s over. Did not like the show.
The Game SUCKED to me last yr they rushed it and changed the characters to much they were all to the 10th power and it wasn’t cute. If they don’t get it together this season I won’t be watching. I preferred Let’s Stay Together. I supported The Game from day one but that wasn’t it

I love The Game too all over the place or not I have my bottle of wine ready for the new season….I think Girl Melanie or Med School got pregnant by Trey wiggs I cant wait to see if Im right or not
