Louis Vuitton Monogram Addiction Lockit Vertical Handbag
Several of you emailed us asking about the Louis Vuitton bag worn by DJ Drama’s arm candy, Summer Walker, in our Jeezy birthday dinner post.
According to sales associate Randy at Louis Vuitton’s Lenox Square standalone store, the handbag is the medium-sized Monogram Addiction Lockit Vertical — and he sold the last one in the store last week. The LV catalogue lists the price at $2,850, but due to high consumer demand, the price has increased to $2,970.
The Monogram Addiction comes in brown and blue matte rubber similar to the wetsuits worn by deep sea divers. The rubber is embroidered with the LV Monogram logo in three-dimensional lamé black stitching.
Randy said the store might be getting a delivery of one brown Monogram Addiction handbag next week (there are only 5 available in the country). If you want it, call the store at (404) 266-3674 to reserve the bag with a valid credit card. Ask for Randy or Holden.

Kelly Rowland gets served by Chris Brown (video)

When R&B Diva Kelly Rowland tweeted “Wooooo!! @chrisbrown just took me down!” during Brown’s Oct. 2nd F.A.M.E tour stop in Atlanta, doubtful bloggers demanded video evidence — or it didn’t happen. That evidence was provided yesterday by a CB Stan on YouTube.
In the video, Brown prowls the stage like a dog in heat. He sings his hits “Wet The Bed” and “Take You Down” as Rowland waits anxiously onstage. The audience of young groupies erupts as Brown strips off his shirt before giving Rowland a simulated lap dance.
We’re surprised at Kelly. We really thought she had more class than that.
Lil Wayne explains his addiction to tattoos: “I want to be like Tupac”

Rapper Lil Wayne released a video explaining the bizarre collection of tattoos all over his body. In the video, Wayne says he got his first tattoo at age 14 in honor of his late father. He said he got his next tattoo to emulate the late rapper Tupac Shakur.
“I have no problem with people going and getting a billion tattoos. But why are you doing it? I know my first tattoo I got, I got because my dad died. I was 14 years old and I knew, not for nothing, God forgive me, I did want to represent my dad in a way but I knew that, ‘Man, I could get my first tattoo at 14 if I asked my mom, ‘Can I go get my dad’s name?’ She’s not gonna be against that.’ The next tattoo that I got said ‘Original Hot Boy’ with a star. Then I went and got my tat across my stomach ’cause I wanted to be like Tupac. I got my tattoo because I wanted to be like Tupac and at the time, I would tell the tattoo dude that’s why I was getting it.”
Obsessive tattooing falls under the category of self-harming behavior. Self-harm is most common in adolescence and young adulthood, usually first appearing between the ages of 12 and 24.
Troubled young men like Lil Wayne go overboard with tattoos to feel intense pain in order to cover up their feelings of inadequacy, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem and depression.

Everybody Hates Beyonce

Last night, before hitting the sack, I logged into my Twitter.com account to see what I missed since I don’t live on Twitter. It warmed the cockles of my heart to see more than half of my timeline going IN on Beyonce’s “Countdown” music video, which premiered yesterday.
You can bet that Beyonce saw these tweets last night as well. I once had dinner with an insider who works very closely with Bey. She told me how sensitive Bey was to criticism.
Normally, these followers are Stans of Beyonce who worship the ground that she spits on. But not last night. I was so proud of the youngsters for shunning the narcissistic Bey and her boring, overhyped music videos. Her videos are mostly ripped off from other artists anyway. Finally, the children get it!

Chris Brown pulls out of MJ tribute after UK denies Visa (again)

According to Eurweb.com, troubled singer Chris Brown was forced to pull out of the Michael Jackson tribute today after he was denied a work Visa by the UK.
But didn’t he already know he was banned from the UK for being a danger to society? Is he that dumb that he would think the UK would overturn the ban just because he was paying tribute to Michael Jackson? What part of YOU ARE BANNED doesn’t he understand?
From Eurweb.com:
One day before the Michael Jackson tribute, Chris Brown has been forced to pull out after he was denied a work visa because of his criminal record.
The singer was set to honor the late King of Pop with a performance at the Oct. 8 star-studded Michael Forever concert in Wales, but he’s now axed his plans after being barred from entering the U.K. due to his 2009 assault conviction for attacking his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo and Leona Lewis are still expected to perform as planned.
