Woman screams on Usher for parking in handicapped spot
An irate woman lashed out at R&B crooner Usher for parking in a handicapped spot in Atlanta’s Little 5 Points area last weekend, according to TMZ.com. Usher (and presumably his children whom he has custody of) were attending the Little 5 Points Halloween parade, and apparently he couldn’t find a parking spot. So him being Usher who thinks he’s above all laws, he parked in a handicapped spot.
That didn’t sit well with a woman who screamed on Usher and told him to move his SUV. Usher refused. The woman was so irate she had to be restrained by other parade attendees — some of whom were dressed up in costumes. Usher stood silently as the woman flailed her arms at him. She even grabbed Usher’s hoodie at one point. The woman’s young son can be heard crying in the background.
Those of us who know Usher know that things would have turned out quite differently if that camera, and those witnesses, weren’t present. Usher has been known to throw a hissy fit or two of his own in the past.
Celeb Style: Solange Knowles and Serena in Burberry
E! Online’s Fashion Police were not all all impressed with Solange Knowle’s African-inspired Burberry outfit that she wore to the Burberry Body bash yesterday at Burberry Beverly Hills. The editor displayed her cultural insensitivity when she referred to Solo’s outfit as a “high-waisted mess.” African Kings and Queens wear the same type of traditional outfits today.
There’s never a dull moment when this outrageous fashionista hits the red carpet, that’s for sure!
At the Burberry Body bash, Solange put her best foot forward in a pair of fabulous tribal sandals by the brand, but add the shiny apron and printed blouse and this is a mismatched tragedy!
We’re just happy that Solange left her over-the-top Diana Ross inspired afro wig at home this time.
Gloria Govan: “Matt and I will be friends forever”
This breakup might just be fodder for reality TV ratings, but Lakers bench warmer Matt Barnes sounded sincere when he said it was over between him and his baby mama, Gloria Govan.
In an interview with VH1 blog, Gloria sounded like a potential stalker when she said “Matt and I do have kids” and “we’ll be in each other’s lives forever.”
Although Gloria sounds extremely confident in this interview, her words conceal a warning to any breezy who is even thinking about coming between her and her baby daddy.
VH1: I saw the news about you and Matt, can you talk about your split?
Gloria: “Matt and I do have kids and we’re trying to be as cordial as we can right now and we’ll be in each other’s lives forever, but as relationships go, we have our ups and downs. It hasn’t been an easy ride moving across the country twice, having kids at 21 when I just graduated college, it hasn’t been easy. And now Matt has the lockout, so everything has been stressful with the breakup, the lockout, everything, it’s been a whirlwind. But we’re still friends and we’re still working things out and I wish him nothing but the best.”
Celebs Out & About: Kim and Kris Humphries, T.I.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were seen leaving Izakaya Restaurant on Third Street in Los Angeles last night. The couple are still putting up a united front despite reports that she was eyeing another ball player. According to Radar Online, the couple’s 2-month-old came about as the result of ratings inspired matchmaking by Kim’s producers. A source tells Radar Online that even before Kim met Kris, someone from E! television telephoned the Knicks front office and asked them if hunky Italian basketball star Danilo Gallinari would be interested in dating Kim. “They asked if he would be interested in dating her and being on a reality show,” a source told the website.
According to the insider, both E! TV and Kim were interested in having her date a big New York athlete for the debut season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, which premiered in January 2011. It seems that Kris Humphries may have been the only player to take the bait. That sucks for Kris if he was indeed tricked into a loveless marriage. But both Kim and Kris are addicted to the fame. So it works out for the both of them.

Singer/actress Ameriie was spotted strolling hand-in-hand with her husband, Lennie Nicholson, during an outing in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. She looks different. What’s different about her? I can’t put my finger on it.
Hunky actor/DJ Idris Elba was spotted walking around Toronto, Canada yesterday with a friend. Elba is in Toronto to film his new movie “Pacific Rim”. As you know, Idris recently wed his longtime girlfriend. I met her once when she accompanied him to a strip club in Atlanta years ago. She definitely doesn’t look like the type of chick you would expect him to be with. Idris likes his meat dark and straight from the Motherland. Clearly, he is aware of the pitfalls that comes with dating certain LSLH women who have entitlement issues.

Michael Vick Covers UPTOWN Magazine
Michael Vick talks victory, failure & deliverance in UPTOWN Magazine’s October/November issue.
“I play the game the way I know how to play it,” Vick tells UPTOWN, after the magazine spent months trying to negotiate an interview. He’s understandably cautious about whom he talks to and what he says.
“You have to take precautions, but this is what I love to do. I want to be there for my team and do what I have to do as a quarterback to be successful.”
While Vick’s road to redemption has been paved with glory, his one major regret is not being allowed to own a dog again as part of his probation agreement. In previous interviews Vick has said he misses being a dog owner and would like to have one as a pet someday.
“I would love to get another dog in the future. I think it would be a big step for me in the rehabilitation process,” Vick said, according to NBC News and TheGrio.com.
But animal rights advocates say Vick’s dog ban is a small price to pay.
“Just as convicted pedophiles aren’t allowed free access to children, anyone who is responsible for hanging, electrocuting, or shooting dogs and who causes them to suffer in other unimaginable ways should never again be allowed access to dogs,” said Lisa Lange, vice president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “All things considered, it is a very small price to pay, especially compared to the suffering endured by the dogs who were abused and killed in the Bad Newz Kennels.” Source

Mary J Blige – “Why” (radio rip) and “Mr. Wrong”
R&B Diva Mary J Blige continues her trend of throwing music into the wind and hoping something sticks. We love Mary but she hasn’t put out a resonating album since What’s The 411 (1992) and My Life (1994).
Since her early, crack-fueled glory days Mary’s music has been mostly hit and miss. It’s clear that she’s one artist who requires a lot of drama in her life to influence her music. Things must really be going well for her at home.
Mary’s latest efforts, “Why” (radio rip) and “Mr. Wrong” also miss the mark completely. Both tracks are off her new album My Life II: The Journey Continues.
“Why” features Rick Ross and “Mr. Wrong”, an updated version of Billy Paul’s 1972 hit “Me and Mrs. Jones”, features rap aficionado Drake. I mean, how can you go wrong with Drake on your track?
