Yesterday we told you exclusively that Tamar Braxton’s husband, Vince Herbert, was admitted to a NY hospital after complaining of breathing difficulties. Our source told us exclusively that Vince was being treated for a blood clot in his lungs (pulmonary embolism).

Update: We just got off the phone with our source who explained that Vince underwent a procedure to place a filter (IVC umbrella) into the large vein carrying blood to his heart from his legs. The umbrella prevents multiple clots from traveling from his legs to his lungs. According to our source, Vince remains in serious but stable condition.

Additionally, our source told Sandrarose.com that Vince now has a security guard posted at his door to prevent unauthorized hospital personnel and guests from visiting his hospital room to take pictures with Vince’s famous visitors, such as Lady Gaga and Mary J. Blige. Vince previously managed Lady Gaga.

We now have more details, courtesy of Your Beyonce Fansource, who wrote that Tamar was “extremely distraught by the whole situation, and hasn’t left her husband’s bedside in New York.”

Tamar was on her Twitter.com page snatching wigs left and right last night after our story broke and a few rude Twitter users decided to come for her hubby.

While in NYC for music related meetings this past Friday, Vincent collapsed and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. He was initially in the Intensive Care Unit. Our production source for the “Braxton Family Values” show confirmed to TheYBF.com that while the situation was indeed serious at one point, Vince is more stable at this time, and even talking to friends and family who are currently with him at the hospital.

Our source confirms it was indeed a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in the lungs that can easily be fatal. Tennis star Serena Williams also suffered from this extremely serious condition following her foot surgery several months ago.

And we’ve also learned the We TV reality cameras were (and are still) rolling, since all 19 episodes of the upcoming season of “Braxton Family Values” (which kicks) off next week have not yet been taped. So we will likely see this whole emergency play out on tv.

It was also reported that Toni Braxton dropped Vince as her manager, but that’s old news. Get better Vince!
