Cartoon rapper Nicki Minaj performed during the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City last night.

After the show Kanye West attended the after party at Dream Downtown. The troubled musician signed autographs on his way in. Kanye wore his favorite pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers, which aren’t available yet, according to fashion blog Upscale Hype. Peep another view of the ugly basketball shoes after the break.

When we pulled up to my step daughter’s grandma’s house and I saw it was a TRAILER I was ….It was in an actual like trailer park. All I could think was “black people actually LIVE in trailer parks” (not dissing anybody who lives or comes from a trailer park, except if u white) I just had never seen BLACK people there. I was astonished!

Like my uncle has a trailer, but it sits on a couple of acres of land in Mississppi by itself…and his trailer got like 4 bedrooms/ 2bath/….Its like a real house!

I am home trying to get my surprise birthday party for my children and a few friends for tonight and was in the kitchen beginning to get things together. Well, my twins were yelling and I went to go upstairs to get them down, forgetting I had the stove on with a pot and oil in it. Well I went upstairs and my youngest got down before I did and yelled to me fire. I thought she was talking about something on the television. Well I came downstairs and went in the kitchen and there it was a damn fire blazing. And I panicked and go through water on it *thats a no no with oil but chit I panicked and then it blazed and flucked up half my kitchen. But like people actually came pounding on my door because there was smoke blazing out the vent. Fire department came to make sure everything is out and now my insurance company is on there way here and I have been on the phone with my housing association for like an hr and I feel stressed already. I am suppose to go on my birthday vacation but now just don’t flucking feel like it. Just 4 are ok though, children a still scared and finally are calm and watching bubble guppies.

Socorro police and the FBI are looking for four men who police say attacked and raped an elderly man who was out on his early-morning walk. Investigators said the 70-year-old was walking Thursday around 6 a.m. at Valle del Sol Park on Valle Rico Road and Valle Fertil when they said four black men got out of a late-’90s Ford or Chevrolet van or minivan and demanded the Mexican-American man to give them money. When he said, “No,” they allegedly grabbed him, threw him in the van and raped him. Socorro spokesman David Garcia said the men yelled racial slurs at the victim as they assaulted him. “These four people know each other well enough to do something like this in front of each other. This is an atrocity!” Garcia said. “This man was somebody’s dad. This man was somebody’s brother, somebody’s friend.” He said the victim was so badly hurt, he had surgery and is in serious condition at a hospital. “I think that’s ridiculous. A 70-year-old man getting taken and raped by an unknown vehicle, you know,” Christian Nevarez, 23, said. He lives in the neighborhood and said he usually wakes up early and sees several people taking walks along the park. He said children also walk to school early in the morning. Police said the attackers are in their mid-20s to 30s. Call Socorro police at 915-858-6986 if you have any information in this case.

Living in Chicago PERIOD is much harder than living down south, IMO….

Just this Monday I was coming home from getting my hair did and what did I see on the street behind my back door. Yellow tape, paddy wagons, a billion police cars, CSI people…. And I supposedly live in a “good” neighborhood… Come to find out some “gangs” were arguing and a lil boy was shot and killed. Literally less than 500 feet from my back door. And I live in Hyde Park/North Kenwood…

It aint no safe places to live here…cause you either 3-4 blocks away from fukkery or the fukkery comes to your GOOD neighborhood and starts chit…

Where do you live again? All parts of Chicago are not bad! I mean I have my issues with the city but there is crime in all major cities. How long have you been here? I don’t watch the news because it’s depressing. If you don’t feel safe you should move to a better neighborhood especially if you have kids. You have to have your coins right though..

A California man is facing attempted murder charges after severely beating his 58-year-old mother with a baseball bat while dressed in drag. Christopher Castillo has not seen his mother in six years, but last Friday he told his sister he was traveling to Las Cruces, NM to kill his mother. The daughter called the mother to warn her, but didn’t call police. Around 5 pm Monday Las Cruces police were dispatched to the victim’s home after a neighbor reported seeing saw a man — later identified as Christopher – — wearing a white dress, high heels, stockings and a wig and walking toward a neighbor’s home. A short while later, the witness heard screams and went to the neighbor’s home where she saw Christopher armed with an aluminum baseball bat and standing over the victim. The witness yelled out and Christopher stopped assaulting his mother. The witness then helped the woman to her feet and to her home where she called 911. When cops found Christopher trying to flee the scene, he was wearing khaki pants, a white shirt and sneakers. The baseball bat was located near an alley nearby. The victim suffered a broken arm during the attack and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but it could’ve been a lot worse had she not used a chair to protect herself. Christopher remains jailed on $155,000 bond. There are so many unanswered questions. Like, why were they estranged for six years? Is he transgender or simply dressed in drag as a disguise?

@Dougie, If you are GS then it should be as long as your job grants you leave without pay when you leave. I left my job in Germany and they gave me 1 year of LWOP and as long as I found a job within that year I was able to keep my pay. I live right around the corner from McCormick Place and Soldier field. So I can walk to the museums, the lake and Grant Park.I really do love my place. I live in a 1600 Sq. OTB I love sweetie pie. To give you an example of how inexpensive it is here. I found a 4bd/3 bth townhome for 1150 a month. It had all wood floors, new aplliances and a garage. I just didnt care for the fact it was so close to a busy street. It was built in 2005 I think. I live in Cypress-Fairbanks School District. My daughter’s school is great. As far as taxes, tehy aren’t bad. We don’t have the state income tax either.

Nope it wont be an extra 100K
Its not all that high where it will break you either. IT just depends on what areas you live in. The best thing is there are no State Taxes…sales Tax is kinda high though.
