Drake’s Take Care Drops Tomorrow

Complex magazine Staff Writer Damien Scott recently spent a few days embedded with rapper Drake and the OVO crew in Toronto for a cover feature in the December 2011/January 2012 issue.
Aubrey Drake Graham, 25, finds it difficult adjusting to fame as rap’s premiere lyricist. If Drake’s detractors aren’t knocking his emo rapping, they’re mocking him for acting tough in his music videos.
“They nitpick at everything,” he says, shaking his head.
“I stand 6’2″. By no means am I the most threatening guy in the rap game, but there are very few people who will come up and say that shit to me in person. It’s always all smiles. That’s one thing I do not fear, anyone in this game. Nobody. Especially none of these guys that are paid to talk shit.” Source
Drake’s sophomore album Take Care officially drops tomorrow. The album leaked online last week, and so far the reception has been lukewarm.
Drake has high hopes for his sophomore set, but others in the music industry don’t share his enthusiasm.
“I think he’s going to catch a brick this time,” said a top recording executive who asked to remain anonymous. “He’s talented but he’s missing something.”
This album is going to set him back a little bit,” said the exec, echoing the sentiment of many who have already heard the CD’s moody R&B-heavy tracks.

Beyonce Shows Off Washboard Tummy On Jimmy Fallon Show
Tavern singer Beyonce touched off a firestorm of controversy when she appeared on the ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ show without her infamous baby bump as she performed her single “Countdown” off her ’4′ album. Beyonce’s washboard tummy sent Twitter users into a frenzy on Friday night.
Even more damning for Beyonce’s camp was the fact that Fallon introducing Bey as if she were right there in the studio!
Holding a copy of Beyonce’s album, Fallon looked into the camera and said: “Tonight she’s here to perform the song Countdown from her latest album, Four. Please welcome Beyoncé.”

The uproar on Twitter.com caused Bey’s PR reps to release a statement claiming Beyonce filmed the appearance way back in August. But why would Beyonce do that?
It is unclear why Beyonce and her camp would lie about the performance, or why they would want her feeble-minded fans to believe that she performed months ago.
