Herman Cain’s Accuser Paid $34K Severance Pay
One of the two women accusing GOP frontrunner Herman Cain of sexual harassment 19 years ago was paid $34,000 — the equivalent of one year’s salary — in a severance pay settlement, according to the New York Times.
The 2nd female accuser reportedly received 2 to 3 months severance pay in a settlement with the National Restaurant Association in 1992.
Last night, the woman’s attorney, Joel P. Bennett, told Anderson Cooper that his unidentified accuser plans to petition the restaurant association to rescind the portion of her agreement pertaining to confidentiality. Bennett, a Washington lawyer, who has not met with his client in years, said the woman wishes to come forward to tell her story now that Cain is making her out to be a liar.
Bennett also indicated that the source who leaked the story to Politico.com was involved in some capacity with the National Restaurant Association which settled with the two female employees who complained about sexually inappropriate behaviour while working for Mr Cain.
To understand why the restaurant trade group settled with the two accusers, it is important to note the political climate of the times in the 1990s. Claims of sexual harassment in the workplace skyrocketed in the 1990s once the national media turned a spotlight on the phenomenon.
6100 sexual harassment cases were filed in 1990 alone. Most of those cases were settled out of court — and almost all of the cases filed involved Caucasian women.

The woman found a gullible lawyer to file a paternity suit against the 17-year-old “Baby” star claiming he knocked her up backstage at a concert last year.
The woman, who was 19 at the time, said she met Justin after he ordered a bodyguard to fetch her from the audience. Meanwhile, Justin located a romantic spot on a shelf in a bathroom where he proceeded to have intercourse with her raw, because, as she claims, he wanted to “feel everything” his first time.

‘Basketball Wives: LA’ chew toy Draya Michelle was Wendy Williams’ guest today. Draya talked about the singer and bench riding ball players she tricked herself out to on the west coast before lucking up and getting arrested, which resulted in a TV deal with VH1. I wish I could spill the beans on who else Draya has slept with, but I understand she’s been slapped with papers, which is why you never hear that name leak from her lips.

Before you answer, think hard if you’re black and you dressed up as Superman, Snow White or Batman this Halloween. I think the Beyonce Stans were upset because the Beyonce Fake Baby Bump costume was the most popular get up this Halloween.
During a Halloween party held for members of the Coyotes, [Paul] Bissonnette posted a photo of a costumed Raffi Torres, along Torres’s wife, to his followers on Twitter. Torres was dressed as Jay-Z and his wife as Beyonce Knowles. Both of them were in blackface.
Blackface is a style of makeup used for imitating a black person. It has a history of being used in forms of entertainment based on racist stereotypes.
The photo quickly spread, sparking outrage amongst fans. Bissonnette later defended his teammate.
“As far as everyone trying to call ‘racism’ because Raffi dressed up like Jay-Z can simmer down,” Bissonnette tweeted. “He’s a huge Jay-Z fan.” Source

In Case You Missed It: Basketball Wives: LA, Ep 10
Last night’s episode of VH1′s ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ was all about Jackie Christie. The ladies departed for a relaxing trip to Hawaii (on VH1′s dime), so you know that means Jackie had to ratchet up the drama (to make the trip worthwhile).
First, Jackie and Gloria Govan have at each other. Then Jackie and Laura Govan go at it. All the while, Draya is in Jackie’s corner nodding and co-signing everything Jackie says because, to her, it’s just a paycheck, and without it she’d be swinging from a pole while her son puts another frozen dinner in the microwave.
