Singer Akon just tweeted this pic of himself giving back to his community here in Atlanta. He tweeted, “Feels good to feed 500 families this year for Thanksgiving. Thanks to the YMCA Lakewood for their support!”

Meanwhile, 10,000 people In South Los Angeles are expected to benefit from the 23rd annual Turkey Dinner Giveaway by the Jackson Limousine Service being held today.

If you are doing something good for someone why does a person need to send out pics and let everyone else know what they are doing….why are they constantly looking for validation? If you are going to do something for someone, do it from the goodness of your heart, not for attention.

I’m sure these celebrities got something out of it. Hopefully they will realize that some of these families need help in eating every night not just on Thanksgiving.

I’m going to feed the needy on Thanksgiving. My aunt her husband and family…They coming over…and as usaul that heifer talkn bout she en have time to make the potatote salad. She’ll bring her verson of Uncooked potatoes, mayo, relish, eggs…..Who does that?
