In Case You Missed It: Real Housewives of Atlanta, Ep 7 “Law By Sheree”
Bravo’s popular ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ reality series usually airs on Sundays, but Bravo aired a special court episode last night titled “Law By Sheree”.
In this episode, Sheree’s former ATM machine (former pro baller Bob Whitfield) has run out of funds (Whitfield claims he only brings in $3,000 a month). So Whitfield takes Sheree to court for modification of his child support payments, meaning he wants to modify the child support amount that he has reportedly aready paid.
The Atlanta law community is buzzing about the business practices of local “celebrity attorney” Phaedra Parks. From accepting drug money in parking lots with no receipts, to sending her assistants to chase down Sheree for her $5,000 retainer fee rather than have her transfer the funds into the law firm’s business account like everyone else does.
It all seems dubious and rather bizarre. But I guess it makes for better “reality” TV. It’s probably no surprise that Phaedra failed the Georgia bar exam the first time she took it in 1998 — the year she graduated from the University of GA law school. She sat for the bar exam a year later in 1999, and this time she passed. But she’s in good company; the late John F. Kennedy failed the New York bar exam twice before finally passing on the 3rd try.
Kandi Burruss lunches with a businesswoman to discuss her new sex toy venture. The two women sample various dildo products at the table in full view of other customers. Kandi is particularly interested in wireless dildos that vibrate in time to any music player. Kandi makes the observation that most women in their 30s have “never had an orgasm from sex.” I didn’t know that.

Police arrested Eugene Foster, of San Tan Valley, after the 31-year-old allegedly found a nude photograph of the child on her phone and became irate, 3TV-Phoenix reports.
“They get into a fight and during that discussion boyfriend decides I’m going to teach you a lesson I’m going to send this out to 30 plus contacts on her phone and that’s what he did,” said Elias Johnson, spokesman for the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, according to Fox News.

Phaedra is the least exciting of the bunch, but at least she didn’t listen to the “hoe call” in all of the latest and greatest R&B/hip hop/rap videos and lyrics.

I used to in a former life work for the state lawyers association…alot of folks fail the bar exam the first time Sandra. AND alot of them also lose their law license over DUMB shat like not doing their CLE classes as mandated. Why …IDK. You get about 4 WARNING letters from the state bar saying you have XX time to complete your CLE hours…I had an atty call me once on a FRIDAY and tell me unless she did TWENTY FIVE hours of CLE time she was gonna be disbarred that Monday… can I help? Good Morning. Sheree is living in a $1000 per month apartment on North Ave behind the Walgreens that T.I. got arrested on his way to the Soul Train music awards. I lived there for 2 months, my car was broken into 4X. I’m disappointed, Sheree has kids to support and a wanna be lifestyle to live so I guess if she wants to stay on the show, she has to become interesting and put her kids and her family business out there. A single moher’s struggle is hard especially if you HAD it and lost it, hell she would have been better off letting him cheat and robbing him blind in both eyes.

When I moved to the ATL the first time in the late 90″s….everything was so easily obtained. It was so easy to come by material things, it made it easier to project an image that was not really you.
I believe Sheree is that person who does not know how to or chooses not to…live within her means. The condo she is in now is probally more than comprable to her real lifestyle. I don’t get carrying the high end purses and driving the fancy cars and you are in debt. How stupid is that?

ha, really Sandra? that’s a low blow. I know people who have had to sit for their professional license(s) 3-4 times. It doesn’t mean you’re not qualified. Those exams typically have a pool of questions which range from 1000-10,000, meaning no two people will take the same exam at the same time. What makes it more difficult when you have to re-take it is your test will not be the exact same one from before. They have a host of questions to pull from. It’s just important to dig in and just know the information as best possible.
