New Music: Ciara – “Swim” & “Be Out”
Singer Ciara finds herself in the best position of her career. Rihanna’s latest studio effort bricked, and Beyonce had to fake a pregnancy to boost interest in her fading career. Those two vacancies leaves the door open for Ciara to reclaim her dominance in the R&B/pop scene. Today, the 26-year-old budding superstar dropped two tracks from her upcoming as-yet-untitled album on Epic records titled “Swim” and “Be Out”. The latter track is album filler, but “Swim” boasts a catchy, upbeat track that should appeal to her teeny bopper audience. Welcome back Ciara!

LOL I won’t shoot.I don’t think she was the best vocalist either but she gave great music at a time when there wasn’t any. I absolutely love four page letter cd and I can listen to the whole thing with out turning a song and That can be said about alot of artist, Keri Hilson, Ciara, Ashanti, Olivia, Britney spears, what did they contribute to music? Nowadays you lucky if you can buy a cd with at least 3 songs that are good on it. I dunno maybe its just me.

I won’t tolerate anything remotely negative directed towards my deceased ex-wife and “Earth Angel” Aaliyah.
So Swim is the better of the two tracks? I haven’t gotten to the second one yet and now I’m scared.
I will say that I’m impressed that they didn’t try to push a bunch of studio tricks on us, but the fact remains that she can’t sing. She is in neither Rihanna nor B’s lane and could never steal their positions. She just doesn’t have it. She rode Jazze Pha’s it, but I don’t even know if he has it anymore. It’s just over. Plain and simple.

Sandra Be Out is better than Swim. Too bad for both of them that Ciara is the one on vocals. I can tell she has had some lessons, but there is nothing that can be done about the fact that the girl just doesn’t have singing ability. Point blank period. And they are low to mid tempo so how is she even going to dance to them? Repetitive pelvic thrusts in a thong?

Sandra Rose you can’t be serious Ciara has never dominated anything Beyonce is the only R&B chick with any consistency within tha last ten years and you know it she can go away for a year or more and still come back a platinum selling artist you should just continue to try and make up with Rihanna.
Ciara needs to dance just like Janet. Herlittle baby whispering voice isn’t mean’t to sing anymore than Janet Jackson’s was. She needs to wheel Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis out of the old folks home and see if they can help her.

No matter what position Ciara finds her self in, She still can’t sing point blank. I wish people would stop forcing these non-talent singers on us. I would watch her dance all day, but sing…..nope. In order to dominate Beyonce’s and Rhi Rhi spot, she has to do more then dance. I know a lot of people feel Beyonce and Rhi Rhi are vocally challenged, but their fan base keeps them on top. Those are the kind of fans Ciara needs. Oh the beats were nice, give them to MJB . lol
