Programming Note: Basketball Wives Special Livestream Event From Miami
All week VH1 has been teasing the Basketball Wives Facebook followers about a special event coming Thursday involving the cast of the ‘Basketball Wives‘ (the boring Miami crew, not the LA cast).
And, maybe due to that fact, VH1 didn’t get much of a response to the teasers on facebook.

Pop star Janet Jackson, 45, doesn’t care what you think about her excessive makeup. Miss Nasty was seen after the last show of her ‘Up Close and Personal’ Tour at Fillmore in Miami Beach, Florida last night.
Singer Jordin Sparks gave them two looks with stunning white and a silver dresses as she attended the 2011 American Country Awards in Las Vegas yesterday.

Rap mogul Chris “Ludacris” Bridges brought his own leading lady, Fab, to the Hollywood premier of his holiday movie, ‘New Year’s Eve’ at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre yesterday in Hollywood, California. The star-studded cast of ‘New Year’s Eve’ includes Halle Berry, Robert DeNiro, Common, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, famed director Penny Marshall, NBA star Amare Stoudemire, and more! NYE was directed by Garry Marshall and it’s in theaters on Friday, December 9.

In Case You Missed It: Love & Hip Hop, Ep 4
If you didn’t get a chance to watch VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop‘ last night — you didn’t miss much. Kimbella’s hair piece caught on fire as she sat and watched male and female strippers in action. And we’re supposed to believe that her hair went up in flames but she didn’t feel any heat or smell anything? We timed it, and it turns out that Michael Jackson’s hair was in flames for less time than Kimbella’s. Yet MJ was hospitalized and the fire scarred him for life.
In Case You Missed It: T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Ep 2
Last night VH1 premiered the much anticipated reality series, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. The network aired 2 episodes back-to-back as T.I. held court at the Cinebistro in Brookhaven hosting a private screening for family and friends. In the 2nd episode, T.I. displayed his paternal love for his 6 children. A particularly touching scene occurred when T.I. was forced to choose between performing a sound check for BET’s Hip Hop Awards or attending his son Domani’s youth football game.
The responsible father in T.I. chose to attend Domani’s football game after speaking with his son via phone and hearing the disappointment in the boy’s voice. “Over the years I’ve grown to love my career. However, I love my family more,” said T.I.
Celebs Out & About: Chris Brown, Willow Smith, Chris Bosh
Troubled singer Chris Brown, 22, was spotted with a few girlfriends leaving a shoe store on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood yesterday. If that’s his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, above, she has certainly seen better days. The poor girl looks thin, unkempt and harried — as if someone might be mistaking her for a punching bag. Brown, who was sporting a lttle teddy bear on his denim jacket pocket, strolled behind his burly bodyguards carrying two big boxes of shoes that the store comp’d Brown with. Chris and his friends left in his new pimped out bright orange convertible Chevy Impala (not pictured).
This little girl is too grown. Singer/actress Willow Smith, 11, wore a face full of makeup while out in NYC today. The precocious daughter of actors Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, stopped and posed for photographers as she made her way out of her NYC hotel.

Kim Kardashian knows she is wrong for this one
Did anyone watch ‘Kim & Kourtney Take NY‘ last night? The episode took up where last week’s episode left off — after Kim’s new husband, Kris Humphries, packed his bags and moving back to his home in Minnesota where he could live in peace.
It seems that the show’s producers saw no problem with a grown man sharing a hotel suite with his wife, another couple and their screaming kid. So when Kris left, the producers urged Kim to follow her man to Minnesota and bring him back. Because, after all, didn’t she marry him for the show?
When Kim arrived in Minnesota, Kris said, “I’ve missed you: I haven’t missed living with everyone — crying babies, weirdo yoga teachers. I’ve been able to focus here … I’m chilling.”
When Kim insisted that Kris return to NY with her, the NJ Nets player explained that in the off-season he still had to train to keep in shape. And his trainer is there in Minnesota.
We watched the manipulative Kardashian use her feminine wiles to goad Kris into returning to NY to live in a cramped suite with his wife, his sister-in-law, Kourtney Kardashian, her baby daddy, Scott Disick, and their kid.
There’s a reason the show is called ‘Kim & Kourtney Take NY‘ rather than ‘Kim, Kourtney & Khloe Take NY‘. It’s simple: Khloe has way too much respect for her husband, Lamar Odom, to ask him to leave the city where he trains in the off-season, to live in a hopeless situation just for television ratings.
