Celebs Out & About: Nicki Minaj, Ray J

Shopping an tearing up the mall can be tiring. Cartoon rapper Nicki Minaj, 29, was spotted doing some high end, pre-Grammy shopping in Beverly Hills, CA, yesterday. The Pink Friday rapper did some heavy retail therapy at Chanel and Giuseppe Zanotti shoe stores. She was seen wearing a pink wig carrying shopping bags to her matching pink Bentley. Nicki paused to make sure the paparazzi snapped pics of her handing out stacks of cash to a valet attendant and a homeless man as well.

Brandy’s brother Ray J was seen at The Grove in West Hollywood yesterday promoting his new semi-autobiographical book titled Death Of The Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray. Ray J, who didn’t actually pen the book himself, follows in the footsteps of comedian Steve Harvey, whose self-help manual on cheating men was a best-seller.

I hope she’s not still with that loser Saphirey. He’s not cute and I don’t even think he works…just lives off her fortune.

Sandra, you aren’t getting any hits on the weekends. I’ve never seen one comment on anything you write. You need to get your game up to be like MTZ and Erezp Nltioh with them 24/7 posters.

I wish these publishers would stop giving book deals to celebs… especially idiot celebs who want to “teach” others how to help themselves. I didn’t buy/read Steve Harvey’s book, wouldn’t even entertain Tyrese’s book (although his tweets are so dumb you can’t help but to laugh) and won’t even consider reading Ray J’s

:tape: on Nicki and her whole ridiculous look

    @screwball

Why don’t you take your azz over to those other blogs and gossip sites then!

Sandra runs THIS and can do as she pleases.

I can’t stand azzholes like you! As a matter of fact, just stay the fluck away from Sandra’s blog.

Tricky Minaj look more foolish each time I see her.
I agree with Ms. Everything – Book deals are like record deals these days; they’ll give them to anyone.

I’ve noticed it’s always divorced men giving relationship advice i.e. Tyrese, Steve Harvey, etc. Seems odd that someone you can’t make their own relationship work wants to tell others what to do.

    Roc says:

To each his own, but I ain’t taking relationship advice from someone one their 3rd marriage. Clearly he doesn’t have it right.

Oh…and that wig is an epic fail. I hate when people try and do “too much”.

  16. 16
    Sandra Rose says:

@ I Run New York I’d rather take advice from someone who has lived the life they are writing about. Those men have all cheated. So who better to give advice on cheating? :)

Totally agree with you. :ashamed: to admit, but I actually read TI’s novel. To my credit, I got it from the library. Let’s just say it’s written like he talks, and that was terrible for me.

    Ms. Everything says:

@Northside Zeta.. I’m sorry you read that but at least you didn’t pay money for it. I forgot Tip was an “author”

    Northside Zeta says:

@Ms Everything, use that term very lightly when referring to TI. The first page told me that it wasn’t going to be good, but I can’t not finish a book. I was even madder that there is a sequel to that mess.

    Ms. Everything says:

 I can’t stop reading a book once I start it so I feel your pain… at a sequel

WOW girl I have to give your credit for finishing that ‘ish!! That was the first book I have ever started and did not finish!! I just could not get past he first chapter!! There is just not enough hours in the day and I have waaay too many books to read

  25. 25
    Northside Zeta says:

@Ms Everything, so you understand my pain right?

@Yardgirl, after my initial shock at the first couple of pages, I decided to just struggle through the rest of the book. But there are only so many “moms” and details about his “fresh” clothing one can take :) I did reward myself after finishing it by rereading Darkest Child.

Me too! Loving these weekend posts, Auntie! Don’t go getting us spoiled! Not feeling Nicki’s pank wig at all.

And it seems everyone is supposedly an “author” these days. Ghostwriting is on the come up. Maybe I need to pitch a book to a celeb so I can make some cheddar.
