Normally I don’t create posts just to display album cover art, but soul singer Melanie Fiona deserves her own post for her much-anticipated follow-up to her smash debut album, The MF Life. Melanie tweeted this pic last night on her Twitter page. It looks like she dropped a few pounds and she’s channeling her inner Pocahontas.

The MF Life drops on March 6th — the same release date as Monica’s 7th studio album, New Life. You can pre-order it here.

I tried it a couple of years back for 2 weeks straight. I lost 17 lbs. But I was also excercising 4 hours a day. Two hours am…2 hours pm. Paired with excercise and internal cleasing..and it does work! Least it did for me.

I did it for 2 weeks OMG, it was hard for the first 3 days then my body start adjusting to it, but when it was time for me to eat again that aint what you want, your body will reject it, u have to go slowly like liguid soups and a cup of fruits for about 2-3 days and may some vegetables, but no meat for a while but an egg will suffice, but be careful

Your stomach also shrinks back to its original size..and you get fuller alot faster/eat less.
I also experienced EXTREME mental clarity and inner harmony. I’m thinking of doing another full cleanse soon.

I’ve never tried the Master Cleanse, but I did the Cabbage Soup diet and let me tell you, I lost 8lbs and don’t look at cabbage the same no more. LOL

A good alternative is to go vegan for a few weeks. The natural fiber in the veggies will clean you out and you will still get the vitamins to substain health. I did meat and dairy free (Daniel Fast) and lost 15lbs.

I have been juicing for 12 days. I watched Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead by Joe Cross and wanted to give it a try. I knew of several real people who did it and lost weight.

I started at 159 and now I am 149. The biggest benefit to me has been my energy level has increased and my body feels great less processed foods, fried food, soda, etc.

I plan to continue juicing as a part of my lifestyle. I am now introducing fish, chicken, solid vegies into my diet.

The juicing has been fun.

Lastly, I remember talks of juicing kale and folks frowned. I juiced a pineapple, mango, kale, celery, pears, grapes, chard…coconut water… the cats meow.

As with any change or fast the first 3 days sucked.

I don’t plan to gain weight nor the inches back so after cleansing I’ve been exercising.

Most folks just stop and go back to deep throating ham, not I. I am going down from a size 8 to a 6 by Spring.

Teen stabs grandmother over 90 times, wanted to upset uncle

LAKE WALES, Fla.

Police say a central Florida teen stabbed his grandmother more than 90 times, struck her in the face with a wrench, and then shot her in the head with a crossbow.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that 19-year-old Jasper Aristotle Smiddie was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with first-degree murder.

According to authorities, Smiddie’s father contacted authorities Tuesday. He said Smiddie had called him and confessed to killing 67-year-old Gloria Helfrich. Smiddie lived with his grandmother in a Lake Wales home. This is where deputies found the body.

CBS affiliate WTSP reports that according to authorities, Smiddie even ate dinner and watched movies with his uncle that night, with his grandmother dead in her room. The uncle thought she was at work, since she usually works overnight.

Authorities say Smiddie didn’t like his uncle and was planning to kill him, but instead decided to kill his mother, Smiddie’s grandmother, to inflict more pain on him.

Fox News reports Sheriff Grady Judd said, “He decided, ‘Well, I’ll kill my grandmother instead so that my uncle has to live with the death of his mother for the rest of his life.”

Smiddie was arrested after he was spotted near his girlfriend’s home.

I heard the first three days are the worst. I’m trying to change my whole diet because I’ve had a lot of stomach issues since I had Ryleigh. I’m trying to give up red meat and diary, completely.

NASHVILLE, Tenn (Reuters) – A Tennessee couple who “defriended” a woman on Facebook were murdered in their home by the jilted woman’s father and another man, police said on Thursday.

“It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” Johnson County Sheriff Mike Reece said, adding he had never seen anything like it in his 27 years in law enforcement in the area. “We’ve had murders, but nothing like this. This is just senseless.”

He said Billy Clay Payne, Jr. and Billie Jean Hayworth were killed last month after they deleted Jenelle Potter, the daughter of one of the suspects, from their “friends” list. Both were shot in the head and the man had his throat cut.

I caught hell trying to find Still Standing for the first two days when it came out. That’s one of the reasons why white women tend to kill family members more often than any other race. They can’t take abuse from the husbands and then the sons grow up slapping them around.

I was 128 before I had my second kid but I had a hard pregnancy thanks to Eve and Adam non direction following asses… I was 183 when I delivered. That second kid baby fat plays no games… I am going to be happy being a 6. BUT I am going to keep my healthy lifestyle.

I have to tell you 1 of the dishes I made for the Superbowl. It’s called Taco Wings. For every 2# of Wings use 1 pack of Taco Seasoning. Put the seasoning in a zip lock bag. Coat the wings and bake 45 minutes. They are so good, I’m making some tonight. I wonder if it would work with Chili Seasoning for Chili Wings?

I lost 10lbs as well. No juicing though.
The first 2 weeks of Jan was no liquids except water and green tea.
The next 2 weeks no fried foods.
I am in my next 2 weeks of green veggies everyday.
No excercise. Stomach as flat as it wants to be now.
I’m thinkin about getting that flex belt Dougie purchased, I’m gonna see how it works for her though.
