Reader Yves Ganthier writes from France:

Dear Sandra,

Why can you not let people just be happy? You seem only to portray this particular couple in a negative light. Now, you say the woman has had a “breast augmentation” on top of a faux pregnancy. Then, you assert that the counterpart stiffs the poor of giving back while downplaying the performance at Carnegie Hall.

In the same article you sourced, it says that the show’s ticket sales have accumulated over one million dollars in USD, which will be dedicated to his foundation. Did you mention that? No.

You often complain about them always being in the spotlight but can you explain what exactly you’re doing? Keeping them in the media, thus contradicting yourself. Everything they do, you seem to have a problem with, despite the couple drawing away from the media for a month to focus on family. An eventful night turned into a ‘stunt’ of some sort.

If it were not for being surrounded by amazing, loving and intelligent people of African descent everyday of my life, I would assume that they are all as bitter and hateful as you.

I beg of you to find happiness and humanity.

The Los Angeles County of Department of Children and Family Services is recommending that Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, have another adult present when has custody of his daughter, Nahla, Radar Online reports exclusively.

The decision comes two weeks after Berry’s former nanny filed a police report alleging that Aubry assaulted her while she was holding Nahla.

“Social workers have recommended that Halle maintain primary custody of Nahla,” a source close to the situation tells “Nahla spends most of her time with her mother. DCFS has also made a new recommendation that Gabriel not be alone with Nahla.

“Case workers are recommending that a nanny be present with Gabriel during his visitation times. Halle’s nanny had been with Nahla when Gabriel had his custodial time from noon until she went to sleep. However, after the alleged incident between the nanny and Gabe, that hasn’t been in place, and he has been alone with Nahla.

“It will be up to the judge to implement the recommendations. Gabriel is fighting having another person with him, he feels that Halle is trying to make his time with their daughter as uncomfortable as possible,” the insider says.

The report also recommends Berry and Aubry attend child parenting classes together.

The shocking story of child sexual abuse running rampant in a LA elementary school has taken on a new twist. The Los Angeles school superintendent removed 88 teachers and 40 support personnel — the entire staff — at Miramonte Elementary School after Mark Berndt, 61, and another male teacher were arrested for sexually molesting children.

Martin Springer, 49, was arrested on Friday for allegedly fondling two girls at the school where the student body is predominately Hispanic. Springer’s arrest occurred a year after Berndt was removed from the school for feeding his body fluids to his students in a bizarre “tasting game.”

Child molesters frequently choose careers in the education or child care fields to gain access to innocent children. Public schools, in particular, have gained a reputation for being a safe haven for child sex predators.

I like ‘Love and Hip Hop‘ executive producer Mona Scott-Young. She’s real enough to give viewers into the real, less glamorous side of reality shows. For instance, Chrissy Lampkin only agreed to appear on last night’s episode if she wasn’t interviewed by Scott.

In last night’s episode, subtitled ‘Reality Check‘, Scott took viewers behind the scenes of ‘Love and Hip Hop‘, to show how the producers really influence the direction of reality shows.

Scott is part interviewer, part therapist. It was interesting to watch her use her calm shrewdness and experience to draw the emotions out of the insecure cast members.

For instance, we now know that fading rapper Jim Jones agreed to appear in the LHH pilot because Chrissy “took a liking to” all the attention she received from the show. It was hard to watch Jones squirm under the weight of his own humility as he admitted to suppressing his pride to allow his woman to shine on the show.

Now that’s love.

About 90% of celebrities are narcissists or they have narcissistic tendencies. They believe they are special and that they are entitled to special treatment.

These celebs cloak themselves inside a warm cocoon where they believe they are untouchable. Celebrities and their reps realize that the media is not as gullible as the general public, so they ingratiate themselves to the media (and to certain blogs). They give certain members of the media (and certain bloggers) exclusive access into their world in return for favorable press. This sort of treatment is otherwise known as kissing azz.

When a celebrity grovels before the national media as much as Jay Z does, he or she doesn’t expect the media to turn on them and expose their failings.

This is precisely what happened to Jay Z today — one day after his so-called “historic” performance at Carnegie Hall in NY. The hard working sleuths at The Daily have uncovered shady financial dealings by Jay Z.

The tide has shifted. Who didn’t see this coming after Beyonce played the media with her sham of a pregnancy?

Sunday night’s season 2 premiere of NBC’s music reality show ‘The Voice‘ shattered TV ratings records. The singing competition earned the highest non-sports related network TV ratings in 6 years. All similarities to other music competition shows ends after the opening credits roll.

Instead of a panel of judges, ‘The Voice‘ features four celebrity “coaches” who choose teams of artists to mentor. This season’s coaches are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, and country music star Blake Shelton.

Season 2’s contestants included Alicia Keys‘ background singer, Jermaine Paul, who decided to go solo after backing up Keys for years. Keys sent a congratulatory recorded message that was played on ‘The Voice‘. Green and Shelton were impressed by his vocals, but Paul chose Shelton as his mentor.

Now we know why Beyonce was in the hospital for so long in January after her surrogate allegedly gave birth to her baby, Blue Ivy. Last night, Beyonce stepped out in public for the first time to attend her husband Jay Z’s concert at Carnegie Hall. It was her first public appearance since the baby’s birth. No one outside of the Metropolitan New York area even knew Jay Z had a concert last night. Which is a strong indication of the media’s decreasing interest in him.

It is obvious from these pics that Beyonce had recent breast enhancement surgery. Beyonce wore a red dress with a plunging neckline so the paparazzi could get good shots of her padding, in a desperate attempt to fool the public into believing she’s breast feeding. How pitiful is Beyonce? Well, you won’t have time to come up with an answer because the attention whore will be in our faces every day for the next few months — until the paparazzi grows tired of seeing her.

A loyal reader sent in this disturbing video of a man being beaten by thugs who assume he’s gay apparently because he’s wearing a hairpiece and skinny jeans.

In the video, which was posted on, the unidentified male victim, dressed in all black, was viciously punched without provocation as he exited a convenience store with another man dressed in an orange Tee (it isn’t clear if the two men are together).

When the victim hit the ground he was set upon by three thugs who savagely kicked and punched him as he cowered on the ground. The thug holding the camera laughed while another man off-camera screamed anti-gay hate slogans.

Loyal reader Demond writes:

Please Help End This.. Can you please help put an end to this mess! Bring these three guys to justice!

Update I, 6:43 pm ET:

The Washington Post has picked up the story under the title Atlanta Hate Crime Caught On Videotape. I had no idea this brutal attack occurred right here in Atlanta — the gay mecca of the south. We’re waiting for the local news to catch up.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution was on top of this story earlier today. According to the AJC, Atlanta police are aware of the videotaped beating, which took place outside a convenience store on McDaniel street just south of the AU center. But police don’t know who the victim is or the date when the video was shot. The APD is urging the victim to come forward and press charges against his assailants.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident shown in the video to call Zone 3 police officers at 404-624-0674 or to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477.

Update III, 11:40 pm ET:

The AJC reports that the FBI has joined in the investigation:

In a prepared statement emailed to the media Monday night, U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said, “Along with the Atlanta Police Department, we are working to determine if the actions portrayed in the video violate federal law, including the hate crime statute.

“The actions depicted in the video are appalling and unacceptable in our community, and we encourage anyone with information about this video to contact the FBI or Atlanta Police,” Yates said.
