In Case You Missed It: Basketball Wives, Ep15; There’s Nothing To See Here
As you know, I don’t watch scripted foolishness such as Basketball Wives. But my Twitter timeline was popping off last night while I watched the Conference Finals game between the Boston Leprechauns and the Miami Heat. My timeline was going off about Shaunie manufacturing a scene between herself and her pastor (who probably isn’t really her pastor since she doesn’t behave like she’s seen the inside of a church in a hot minute.)
According to VH1′s blogger, her relationship has ended, but Shaunie’s conscience is taking a beating, and it makes her wonder if she can continue to take this anymore (and deposit those fat reality TV checks). By ‘this’ they mean the drama that Shaunie demands from her actresses (if you can call them actresses).
Shaunie is feeling the heat from all the protestors, so she concocted this scene in an effort to dispel the rumors that she pays a bonus for extra ratchetness on the set.
“Is it worth walking away from?” the pastor asks Shaunie.
“I have really considered walking away,” Shaunie says. “At this point I can no longer defend it,” she adds — knowing full well she recently recorded that scene after all the drama from sponsors pulling their ads from the show.

When I watched this episode last night at midnight, I said the EXACT same thing… that’s why it was added to the END of the episode and seemed to come out of nowhere.
Why was she in agreeance of all the ignorance while sitting on the beach with Tami, Evelyn and Thuzie? When they came back to Miami, they sat there and made it appear that THEY are the only “positive” ones in the group… how did you go from THAT to your pastors office being “conflicted”?

This season was terrible. Grown women bickering about he say she say. I will not watch next season. And I also believe Shaunie taped that last scene after all the drama. She’s trying to save face.

Shauni- True instigator. Stays from being directly in the drama but, does and says just enough to keep it going.
Tammi- Always feels like it’s ok for her to voice her opinion and you’d BETTER accept and agree to it or it’s a problem but, a friend tells her, respectfully, that she was wrong for how she handled something and that’s reason to end the friendship? I can’t stand a bish that wants it both ways.
Suzi- Always screaming, “I’m not in it!” but, causes “it” 95% of the time

Keisha & Royce- Most Mature out of all of them.
Ev- Not a fan but, if what she says about Jen is true, I can see where she’s coming from. If Jen was with her doing hoe shyt while she was doing it, she’s no better than Ev is. Only thing separating Jen from her, would be the fact that Jen has more cash and carries herself differently. I honestly don’t see where Ev has necessarily been putting Jen’s business out either except for last night and I really think she was just frustrated that Jen is trying to act like she is better than her when they were doing the same shyt together.
Jen- I can appreciate the fact that she tries to avoid the drama but, at the same time, she is just at guilty as the rest of them. I agree that she says and does shyt then plays the “Why is everybody pissed” card. Chick is either just reckless or clueless if she doesn’t get where the problem is coming from. She’s also a liar because although it’s noone’s business who she fu(ks, wasn’t she running aroung talking about she has cobwebs from not getting any and criticizing Eric for cheating when apparently, she was doing the same thing. Ev might not be great but, she was helping her keep that facade up by making comments about she should get her some. I do think she should stick to her plan to stay away from them all though because at this point, I don’t see things going well.
As far as Vegas, what I heard, somewhere, was that Jen and Ev had a 3some with some dude so, maybe that’s how EV knows Jen let dude hit raw. Just like Jen has some dirt on EV, i’m pretty sure that Ev has plenty she hasn’t spilled as well.

Lovezoe-when you teach that it’s wrong that makes them curious at to why. Little boys holding hands is nothing,they are lil. Now if she sat him down at a later time and told him that boys don’t hold hands with boys is something different.
@GA-I live in New England and it’s totally different and acceptable here. i don’t mind it at all I just got tired of explaining it. Anyone that knows me well knows that I stan for the ‘kids’ but my kids don’t know nothing about that life!

@ Zoe….Depends on age and why they were holding hands. If they were crossing the street together, good plan. If they felt more comfortable because they were holding hands, I see no harm. It’s harder to grab someone holding onto someone else than it is someone just walking. I’m saying this in the case of lil kids though. Not no half grown ass teenagers.

@ Zoe…AT that age, I would TELL my kid to hold his friend’s hand. Too many crazies out in the world. It doesn’t guarantee safety but, I hope you get my point.
