Judge Admonishes Usher for Calling His Ex-Wife ‘Tameka Foster’ *Update*
The dramatic coverage of Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster‘s child custody hearing continues today in a Fulton County courtroom.
According to celebrity blogger Dennis Byron, of HipHopEnquirer.com, who is in the courtroom, Usher is on the witness stand right now, and Tameka’s attorney, Lisa West, is attempting to prove that his schedule is too busy to get full custody.
And just moments ago, Usher was admonished by the judge for referring to Tameka Raymond as “Tameka Foster.” Apparently, the judge recognizes Foster Tameka Raymond because she kept Usher’s last name after the couple’s divorce in 2009.
Update: According to Dennis, Judge Lane just removed all media from courtroom while Usher was about to give testimony on evidence photos.
Update II, 3:48 pm ET:
According to Dennis, the court personnel are monitoring his coverage and that of a “famous blogger.” It isn’t clear who the famous blogger is.
Raymond and his ex-wife are locked in a contentious battle for full custody of their two sons.
Usher broke down under intensive cross examination by West yesterday. The R&B crooner wiped away tears with a tissue when West accused him of partying all night and using drugs while the children were in his care.

Here’s the thing though, we all know her as Tameka Foster Raymond. Hell, I didn’t even know what her 1st husband’s last name was until I looked it up. Nowhere before have I seen her 1st husband’s (or her 1st set of kids) last name. So that arguement doesn’t seem to work here.

I read once long ago that after a woman marries ONCE she can use whatever name she wants to FOREVER more. She can go on to marry 5 times… but if she wants to fugg with hubby number say… 3…she can keep HIS name even after she divorces him and marries twice more.
Legally she can use Foster, Glover, or Raymond. She done stalked Glover since she was married to Raymond but THAT is the name she uses? Umm yeah.

I think we all know that Tameka doesn’t seem to have been bought up by the “upper crust” of society. But what I’m saying…is that plenty have done the same for lesser reasons.
Okay…the tire slashing thing was hoodtastic (true.) But…maybe she was being her normal hood self.
I think the Saks card ordeal was really about more than the Saks card but I dunno, so I can’t speak on that.
And she is lawyered up now. Tameka may be a little hood but at no point did she petition any court to get sole custody of that man’s kids. He did that to her. And I dunno what was going on in their background. MAybe he said something to her about trying to get the kids before and she went off. Maybe the Grace chick said something about it.
I can’t speak on it all because I don’t know them or much about them, but nothing Tameka has done has come off like she was crazy, deranged or just plain extra. As the facts have come about since the case started, it seems like almost every reaction she’s had is a reaction to something that stemmed from Usher.
She’s not perfect by any means, but she is human. I just wish folks would give her a break sometimes.

Either way, do it for the kids. I’m sure they sense the animosity and its not healthy. Put that other shyt aside and work it out for them. I’m pretty sure the judge will rule in favor of Tameka, she ain’t on drugs, yeah she crazy but as long as it doesn’t harm the boys, they will stay with the mother as they usually do in most custody cases. Usher about to drop another album which means promotion so the judge will take that into account. Either way

Baby daddy’s now wife called me when they first started dating and being around my kids. She called to say that she aint coming in judging anybody. She doesn’t take his side just cause he is her man. There are 2 sides to every story. Since then we are good. I love her the same way that I love him. When I’m in Atl we have family time together. It’s about being mature and knowing that it’s about the kids. We have a huge blended family. My youngest is not his but he doesn’t act like it and neither does she. They do for all 4 of my kids. good for you. My ex’s bm and I get along well enough. We aren’t friends but we’ve never had words, our kids spend time together, we do for each other’s kids and my fam and her fam have all embraced all the kids together. And like your ex’s wife, I called her before we got married, introduced myself and explained that I wanted no problems with her or vice versa. He actually got mad at me for doing so but I’m glad that I did. But now, no two situations are the same and his new gf will never set eyes on my kids if I get my way (which I am cause he’s a worthless deadbeat) for the fact that they’re both drug addicts and she’s one of those that thinks that because she got him after I put him out that somehow she “won” and like I said yesterday, I’ve been really clear with her. We have no problems unless she brings herself around me at which point all bets and public decorum is off. Other than that, she don’t exist to me and I need not exist to her. I love when people co parent without drama but it’s not always possible

So Usher can’t custody of the children he have with Tamika Foster and her ex husband can? I would question the fact why doesnt Foster have custody of her other children. She Shouldnt have to called Raymond even if she kept the name. She can keep it but still wont gain respect from Usher. especially not a grown ass over 30 year old man with two children he wants to raise on his own. If he’s high off that ish and something happens then what? If he’s high and drives them somewhere and wrecks? Or he has a bad reaction (which happens all the time with e)? Too many things can go round to play around with that while you’re pregnant. I don’t like when people smoke weed knowing they have to take care of kids but at least weed doesn’t change your brain function and the most that can go wrong is you fall asleep or forget something 
If I was her, I’d be trying to limit his time too. And he wants to be able to take the kids traveling with him so if something goes wrong she’s to far to get in the car or hop on a quick flight

I want to start by clarifying that I’m in no way a fan of Usher.
Now….
I think that Tameka is a typical dumb bish. The type of dumb bish that is a huge pain in the ass, emotionally immature, viciously vindictive, and just all around bitter. You know…the type that uses their kids as pawns. I would bet money that she turned it up when he had another woman in his life. That is probably a driving force behind Usher’s actions – it’s better to snatch those kids away so that he would not have to deal with her ****ery. I bet that bish told him that dumb bird ****, talking about how his new woman can’t be around the kids and all that extra dumb **** that these bird bishes say. I’m sure that limits his visitations and restricts him from sharing his new life with his kids. And I would bet even more money that she has had her kids meet a few dudes. You know how these bird bishes do….They will introduce their kids to their fly-by-night men, but refuse to let their kids’ fathers introduce their kids to the woman in his life.
As you can tell, I hate dumb bishes and their double standards. Particularly because they only do the **** that they do to have some sort of “control”. And as we all know, that **** backfires a lot. That’s why many kids don’t have daddies. Not that I’m condoning absentee parents, but the reality for many men is that they are faced with the choice to either be gone or have their kids witness their mother emasculating them. Sometimes, these dumb bishes aren’t happy until they get beat the fcuk up and a lot of dudes don’t want their kids to see that.
I hope Tameka get those kids taken away from her!
I hope tameka can keep her kids. She is older and hopefully wiser now and I havent heard anything about her abusing them. If men would take the time out and get to know the person before they go around knocking em up and then after they divorced , cant stand the kids mother. i have a guy friend who went through this. sadly, he just had to let go. once his daughter turned 18 and was out on her own, they hooked back up and have had a great relationship since.
