A convenience store video provides a glimpse into the final moments of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin just before he crossed paths with George Zimmerman on Feb. 26, in Sanford, Florida.

The video shows Trayvon purchasing a can of Arizona ice tea and a pack of Skittles at a 7-11 minutes before he was shot and killed by Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman. Trayvon, wearing a dark gray hoodie and sagging pants, is seen walking to the cooler at the rear of the store and then proceeding to the counter to pay for his purchases.

After months of feet dragging, covers up and outright lies by the Sanford police department and the national media, the photographs of George Zimmerman's injuries the night he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin have finally been released.

The good quality photos show superficial scratches on Zimmerman's face and on the back of his head. The photos do not prove Zimmerman's claims that he was in a life and death struggle with the unarmed teenager when he shot and killed him.

Gossip website TMZ.com is reporting that disco legend Donna Summer has died after a long battle with cancer this morning in her Florida home. She was 63.

Donna Summer, real name LaDonna Gaines, was originally trained as a gospel singer before breaking into the big time as a disco singer.

The 5-time Grammy winner, whose disco hits helped redefine the music industry in the seventies, peaked on the charts with her singles "Love to Love You Baby" (1975), "Last Dance" (1978), "Hot Stuff" (1978) and "Bad Girls" (1979).

Mixing soul and funk with electro house music, Donna was dubbed Disco Queen. But her star soon faded when the industry suffered from a disco backlash in the 80s.

Still, Donna achieved more success in the 1980s with her singles "On the Radio" (!980) "She Works Hard For the Money" (1982), and "This Time I Know It's For Real" (1988). Her most recent album, Crayons, was released in 2008.

Mayweather, who was in Atlanta earlier this week, followed up with a tweet saying his friend had a stomach virus. But a stomach virus usually doesn't require hospitalization or surgery.

In 2009, one year after Barack Obama was elected president in a landslide victory, I posted these images of the president and the first lady Michelle Obama together. Body language enthusiasts can clearly see the involuntary signals that Michelle was sending at the time. Her closed body position clearly indicates some discord between the two. But when I pointed the signals out to my readers back then, they scoffed at me.

According to author Edward Klein, whose new book "The Amatuer" is about to hit store shelves, the Obamas once talked divorce.

Newark Mayor Cory Booker is an anomaly; at 43, he holds a prestigious job, makes a ton of money, but he is chronically single.

In 2012, a handsome man who is still single after the age of 40 is almost unheard of.

Mr. Booker has been the subject of rampant ghey rumors for years now. In a new interview by Obie Brook for EBONY magazine, Mayor Booker adds fuel to the rumors by balking at the mere mention of dating ladies.

EBONY: Forgive me, I have to ask this question because too many ladies out there would kill me if I didn't: are you hoping to settle down and start a family in the near future?

CORY BOOKER: [Laughs] What "ladies"? Did my mother put you up to this? [Laughs] I just I think everybody wants to have that settled life and even God wants us to "have life and have it more abundantly." Everybody wants to find their soul mate and I’m no different. That's definitely what I want in the future.

Booker goes on to say he is looking for a "soul mate" to settle down with -- not necessarily a female.

EBONY: Last year you mentioned being too busy to date. Have you found
that soul mate yet or are you still looking?

CORY BOOKER: Still looking for that soul mate.
