President Obama today announced a major immigration policy change that will ensure him at least 800,000 new voters.

Calling it “possibly illegal” and charging the administration with playing politics, South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said, “This is a classic Barack Obama move of choosing politics over leadership,”

The Obama administration announced today it will provide immediate amnesty to over 800,000 children of illegal immigrants.

Sen. Graham tweeted: “President Obama’s attempt to go around Congress and the American people is at best unwise and possibly illegal. He added: “This type of policy proposal, regardless of motivation, will entice people to break our laws.”

The new policy change will affect children of illigal immigrants who were brought to the U.S. by their parents before the age of 16.

The policy applies to illegal immigrants who are under the age of 30. Those affected must have lived in the U.S. for 5 years and they must be in school or graduated, military veterans, and they can not be convicted of a felony.

Critics are concerned that Obama is bypassing Congress to administer his new policy. They say it will be impossible to make the policy work. The new policy is effective for 2 years.

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney can terminate the new policy if he is elected president in November.
