In Case You Missed It: Single Ladies, S2 Ep 2
Last night’s episode of “Single Ladies” was simply horrible. We knew the story line was a disaster when Raquel’s uptight mother catches her and the stable guy rolling in the hay. Remember that just last week Raquel (Denise Vasi) broke off her engagement to the supposed love of her life? You would think Raquel was a teenager the way her mother went off on her for sleeping with the help.
The rest of the episode didn’t fare any better. Keisha (LisaRaye) locks lips with her attorney, Sean, the guy she used to date back in the day who can’t get enough of her and wants her back. But Keisha still isn’t over Malcolm, who isn’t over his ex-wife for another 3 years because she can put him away with the information she knows about his shady dealings.
The most absurd plot line involved April (Charity Shea) who goes for a pap smear only to find out that her regular gyne isn’t available. So she doesn’t even look up from reading a gossip magazine to see who the substitute doctor is until his hands are up inside her. The new doc is Jason, guy she just met at the roller skating rink. A few scenes later, they’re rolling in bed together, and Jason, who has a pu$$y fetish, convinces her to let him shave her private parts.
Queen Latifah should have scrapped this show when Stacey Dash left. Not even rapper Eve can save this mess!

I just cannot get into this show. I watched 5 minutes of it then I flipped over to an old episode of Criminal Minds.

This show is like a bad reality show.

I used to couldnt wait for this show to come on. Now when its on I find myself looking at my phone a lot and losing track of the show. The acting and story lines are stupid. I find myself not liking Lisaraye anymore since she got Val fired
I think the show has potential but they definitely need new actresses. When Denise talks, I feel like I’m watching a bad audition tape.

Oh and what happened to the high fashion? Did they get new stylist this season? Their clothes was one of the best things about the show last season.

Why doesn’t Queen make them take acting classes? MJB was on Chelsey last night. She is in “Rock Of Ages” w/Tom Cruise, she took acting classes. I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t know if MJB can act.
I felt like I was watching Zane’s sex chronicles, this show is losing its appeal
The show isn’t the same without Val, just like The Game won’t be the same without Derwin and Mel. Can’t watch it anymore.

i mean yall act like stacey dash was gonna win an oscar anytime soon i dont think the new girl acts any better/worse than she did.
As bad as Stacey’s acting was….she was a bad bish. Vasi has no sex appeal. OMG, wack. Lisa just needs to give it up and find a rich African man to set her up for life. I can’t imagine a doctor running around eating cookies all day like that.
Just plain unsanitary.

Sorry, but I gotta be a Hollywierd type and say Queen needs to do whatever it takes to get Stacey back. If she doesn’t want to bow down then she at least needs to replace the Vasi chick with a grown up who knows how to act. How do you replace a 45 year old with a 20 year old? And she sounds like a 14 year old. The plot stunk up the place. Can’t we get some time with LisaRaye and Blue before you bring in yet another man? Damn.
I’m hoping since they didn’t kill off Stacy Dash character that she may return. If not, this shall be the last season. It absolutely sucks without her. Lisa Ray looks loose everywhere and is in need of squats ASAP. Her face needs a lil nip tuck because she is looking really really old
Honestly the only character I love is the queen clothing shop employee! They need to build a stong story line around his character cause the others are zzzZz…
