Jay Z’s former business partner sentenced to 5 years in prison
You can add Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s name to the long list of former Jay Z associates doing time in federal prison.
In fact, just about everyone Jay Z has done business with has been arrested for offenses ranging from drug dealing to kidnapping and assault.
Burke and 50 others were nabbed in a federal drug sting called “Operation Green Venom,” which targeted dealers responsible for moving most of the pot in the city.
Jay Z is an admitted former drug dealer who sold crack cocaine in the Marcy projects of Brooklyn. Jay Z went on to launch a successful rap career glorifying drug dealing and the gangsters he grew up with.

A former Jay-Z business partner who invested in Roc-A-Fella Records pleaded guilty Thursday to participating in a massive marijuana trafficking ring, federal prosecutors said.
Kareem (Biggs) Burke, 38, faces five to six years in prison during his sentencing May 18 for conspiring to distribute more than 100 kilos of marijuana, said Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.
Under the plea deal, Burke agreed to forfeit cash, his house and a BMW, Bharara said.

Now that don’t make no damn sense, but I know how nigras love to try to flip their money. I know a lottery winner who used a portion of his annual check to do the same. I guess that’s easier than figuring how to live off a massive amount of money.

My thing is, why is he forfeiting anything? Didn’t have Biggs have hte legitimate funds to buy all of that stuff? AND he gotta do 5 years? What kind of lawyer did he have? Was he the head of the whole operation?

I’m talking about people that Jay Z did business with before he abandoned his home boys for corporate suits.
Sandra…did you see Anna’s response to me? She thought that they were still friends.
You have a tendency to intentionally word your articles in a manner to get more hits.
What does Jay have to do with Biggs now? Do you have any idea when they even last spoke? I’m sure you don’t (and neither do I). At the end of the day, I’m just saying that sometimes you’re very reckless with your reporting in order to get hits. I suppose that’s you’re objective.
I have a Masters degree and am an esteemed member of our community. I also have family members who have been to jail (and are currently IN jail), and know others that have as well. What exactly does that have to do with me? Nothing. Same as it has to do with him.
Question, should I stop speaking to my cousin in jail just because he did wrong? Our mothers are still sister’s and I still love him. Jay knew him his entire life. Maybe he still has love for him as well. There are MANY people that treat friends as family. And at the end of the day, they aren’t friends anymore and you knew that, yet you chose to write a post and tie the two of them together.
Anywhoo…still love the bog, but I call a spade a spade.

He’s over 40 now. No one associates him with those people except the people who would like to think negatively.
He’s no longer “keeping that company”.
Funny you persecute him for his former friendships, yet you publically love Monica who dated a man that is currently in prison for murder, you adore TI and he has been out of prison for less than a year and it’s well known he tried to buy illegal weapons and was a known drug user? OK Sandra, Monica dated one man in prison for murder, one man that was a drug dealer that killed himself, Rocco was also a drug dealer. You ignored my inference to TIP. He has also been in prison multiple times, and has friends that have done the same. He wasn’t even able to see his wife during his last stint because of their X-rated behavior.
All I’m saying is if you’re you’re going to make people guilty by association let’s be fair about it.
