Miami Heat are NBA CHAMPS!

It took 9 long years but LeBron James finally has his first ring!

The Miami Heat were the underdogs going into the NBA Finals series against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. But the Thunder didn’t have LeBron’s steely determination or his fiery will to win.

“Happiest day of my life,” said LeBron after the Heat defeated the Thunder 121-106 to win the NBA title Thursday night in Miami.

“It means everything,” James said after the game. LeBron hoisted the NBA trophy before accepting his Finals MVP award. “I made a difficult decision to leave Cleveland but I understood what my future was about. I knew we had a bright future… This is a dream come true for me. This is definitely when it pays off.”

After the game, an emotional LeBron embraced his fiancee Savannah Brinson and their children LeBron James Jr., 7, and Bryce Maximus James, 5.

In post game interviews LeBron said, “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. You just put a lot of hard work into it and one day it will pay off for you. It paid off for me tonight.”

The win was bittersweet for Chris Bosh who welcomed a son, Jackson, during the playoffs. Bosh kissed his baby on the court after the game.

Gabrielle Union was supportive of her man Dwyane Wade. Wade won his 2nd championship title in his 9 year NBA career.

Wade celebrated after the game with his sons who he said were his motivations for playing.

So proud of the home team!! So happy for Lebron! Like he said last night he had to let go of what people thought of him. Some folks will never like him but who cares. He grew as a player this season! He played his heart all season and he deserved this.

For the folks talking about the refs….STOP IT!! The refs kept OKC in the game last night! You saw how many free throws they had?? Also, throughout the series the refs played favorites. Some calls favored the Heat and some favored OKC. Its not about the refs though. The series was a great series but yesterday the Heat showed up and showed out! Mike Miller was a beast! Everybody showed up last night to win that game. Once again Go Heat!!

on Cleveland: I don’t understand why people hate that he left Cleveland. That man wanted a chance at a championship(EVERY PLAYERS GOAL IS TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP)…Cleveland was not putting players around around to WIN. and the players they did get were bangin out his mom. I haven’t notice this much hate/dislike toward a player since Kobe became a prominent player. I asked the same question then too. No argument from me on anyone’s perception, but it was just an observation.

Disclaimer: I don’t necessarily cheer for teams anymore since the dismantling of Chicago way back in the day. Now, I cheer for players. My favorite players now are Tim Duncan and KG! Neither didn’t get it this year, but oh well.

Congrats to the Heat, man I wanted to jump in and hug Kevin Durant last night…I got a lot of respect for dude, the way he broke down when he hugged his parents says a lot He’ll get his in due time, it just takes player development. But I will say this, the last two games, the calls were shaky as all hell. Even last night with that flagrant on Fisher when Lebron RAN INTO HIM was some straight up bullshyt. The refs have to do better. I don’t think they gave up, I think their fair chance at a victory was stolen from them so they played like it didn’t matter. Hell I’m a fan of both teams but this series was waaay one sided.

They do that so teams can’t tank a season to get a player. The Bulls won the lottery with a 1% chance and got Derrick Rose. I didn’t hear anybody say it was rigged then. Why wouldn’t they have had Lebron go to New York? Cleveland? Don’t nobody give no fuk about Cleveland.

I’ll admit that it does seem to be “convenient” for New Orleans to get the first pick but did anyone watch Anthony Davis in college? At best he’ll be kinda like another KG but not as good. People talking about the same dude that couldn’t even catch the ball in the Final Four like he’s some saviour.

Well it’s after 9:00 am, so here it goes:

FYCK the Miami Queens…the NBA should be ashamed of themselves, they know damn well they paid for that NBA championship!!! How is it that OKC had “home court” advantage, yet The Queens had 3 games in a row @ home?! Gabby Union looking like Onions (Miss. D Wade’s) mother. I border line HATE LaBron, but I in fact do HATE Jurassic Park and Onion. I didn’t even waste my time watching the finals because I knew bullshyt would be in the end result!! I just need for someone to explain to me, how OKC was able to sweep damn near everyone on the West Coast, yet they damn near got swept playing the Queens? Did the Queens barley beat the (in Auntie’s words) a much older and struggling Celtics team. GTFOOH!!!
