The Florida state attorney’s office has released a treasure trove of ‘discovery’ in the George Zimmerman 2nd degree murder case. The booty includes 6 jail house phone calls between Shellie Zimmerman and George Zimmerman, who is accused of gunning down 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last February in Sanford, Florida.

On one of the tapes Zimmerman is heard joking about wearing a hoodie while hiding in a car after leaving jail in April. The ‘hoodie’ remark is believe to be a reference to the item of clothing that Trayvon wore as he walked through the rain to his father’s friend’s home in a gated community.

Zimmerman spotted Trayvon and called 911 to report him as “suspicious” because he was wearing a hoodie.

“We could have two cars, we could have two rented cars,” Zimmerman told his wife during the April 16 phone call.

Zimmerman joked about wearing a disguise inside the vehicle, “Well, I have my hoodie,” he said.

The promotional copy for the shoe ads posted on Facebook reads: “Got a sneaker game so hot you lock your kicks to your ankles?”

But activists and Facebook users reacted with anger at the premise of Adidas promoting slavery with the shackle shoes.

More than 2000 Facebook users labeled the shoes “offensive” and referred to Adidas as “ignorant” for the insensitive promotional campaign.

Happy Father’s Day to all the real daddies and to the brothas who are father’s to other men’s sons!

If you are a single man with no children, please take the time to show love to a fatherless boy instead of hanging out on the corner. You would be his hero and it would mean so much to his world.
