The son of rapper Snoop Dogg has 3 years to consider an offer to play on the UCLA football team with Sean Combs’ son, Justin (right).

The NY Time’s Page Six reports that Broadus’ high school, Diamond Bar, said on Twitter, “Cordell Broadus (2015) received his first offer from UCLA.” Broadus, a 6ft, 2in, 185-pound wide receiver, has three years of high school remaining.

Combs, a 5ft, 9in, 170-pound cornerback, made headlines when it came to light that he was offered a $54,000 scholarship to play for UCLA. To Justin’s detriment, his dad is a prodigious braggart who shamelessly flaunts his wealth and boasted about dropping $2 million at a Miami strip club.

GLAAD spokesman Daryl Hannah (pictured right) reached out to me via email this morning to ask that I tone down my description of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s transgender cast member Joseline Hernandez as a “shim” or “tranny”.

GLAAD is concerned that my readers might take my colorful commentary of Joseline as an impetus to run out and harass or beat up transgendered individuals.

I’m insulted that GLAAD and Mr. Hannah thinks so lowly of my readers that they assume my readers can’t draw a distinction between tongue-in-cheek humor and homophobia. I’m also surprised that GLAAD knows who Joseline Hernandez is.

Read the email after the break.

Gay couples impulsively rushed to get hitched when New York passed the Marriage Equality Act on June 24, 2011. It wasn’t the matrimony or the sanctity of marriage that they were after, for some it was the fame or the bragging rights that comes with being the first to do anything, like owning the newest iPhone.

In their haste to marry the woman of their dreams, Katie Marks and Deseā€™Rae Stage danced in the streets, then rushed up the steps of the courthouse to say “I do.”

Katie wearing a magenta dress and Des dressed in skinny jeans and pink Chuck Taylors joined 23 other couples at the Pop Up Chapel, a one-day wedding event in Central Park, according to TheAtlanticwire.com.

By January, the newness of marriage had worn off, and a stark reality had set in: they really weren’t made for each other after all. By March, Katie moved in with her new lover, a woman she met on Instagram. Now Katie and Des are among the first gay couples — if not the first — to get a divorce in NY.

“I’m trying to find the most loving way to get us through this practically,” Des told a reporter, “but I do believe we never should have been anything more than friends.”
