Alicia Keys chops off her hair to promote ‘New Day’ single
Music producer Swizz Beatz tweeted pics of his wife, singer Alicia Keys’s new hairdo. Keys, 31, chopped off her hair to promote her latest single, “New Day” off 50 Cent’s upcoming album Street King Immortal.
Not everyone was pleased with Keys’ new look. One loyal reader emailed me to say: “Can we discuss Alicia Keys new haircut? I don’t like it.”

She was wearing weave like the rest of them. Her hair only touched her shoulder, yet at times it was down her back. I do like the new cut. When you get your hair cut, you should be able to get 6 diff styles from it.

Thank god people forget that when you have a kid your hair sheds and you need to trim or else your hair thins esp with mixed breed individuals. She probably had a bunch of dead hair and needed to revitalize it

I use to like/appreciate her music, but she just started feeling herself a little too much for me. So critical of others, when those last two CD’s did much of NOTHING.
