You couldn’t tell rapper Nas was pushing 40 just by looking at him. Nas was a guest on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Monday. Nas was in New York to promote his new CD, the name of which escapes me. Nas is paying his publicists a boatload of cash to book him on mainstream shows such as Letterman and CNN.

This might sound kinda asshole-ish but I’ve never got virgins who participate in the “other” sexes. Maybe cause I was never a super “virtuous” virgin or because to me my virginity wasn’t a statement to my goodness, my character, personality or any other part of me it was just something that was what it was. I didn’t brag about it while I had it and I didn’t mourn it’s loss or go celebrating it’s demise through the streets either. But if you’re going to maintain your virginity (which if so kudos to you for doing what I didn’t give a damn to do) what’s the point of getting in orally or anally or handily. Just do it or don’t do it period. To me there’s no in between. You are a virgin or not. A virgin doesn’t just mean your hymen is intact, it means you’re setting a boundary be it for religious, personal, health or whatever reason but halfway going there is just as bad as taking it all the way

Anyway,,,Ran across an article about cops shooting a man,,,They went to the wrong address of a suspected killer,,,Man answers the door and points his weapon at the deputies…They shoot him dead…Only details are-The time of day is probably why he armed himself before he answered (they dont specify what time of day, but they usually do raids at the crack of dawn to catch them off guard) Also they say that the deputies did not state that they were deputies…Thats it. A White man dead. The commentors on the article are so angry—-AT THE COPS…Imagine that. When a Black man is shot and killed by the cops, the comments are completely different. Not by the flat out racist,,,Ignoring them,,,But if a Black man answered his door with a gun in hand, they damn sure wouldnt question the officers authority to shoot him…I just found that interesting. I mean yeah I already know what/how/why it is, but sometimes its good to be reminded. Anyway #JusticeforTrayvon

@Naja- I am going by the alleged police report. IF he did hit his mom, in my book he is a a punk. IF he got that many issues with her cut her loose. You can help folks that won’t help himself. @Naja- That is why I said IF true, then my feelings for him stand. Perception is a beast. All it takes is someone saying something for things to go haywire. I just say that sometimes for the sake of all, you have to love some people from a distance.

Brenden= I did see that story. Sad. The cops have no regard. This is not the first time police officers have gotten the wrong address and something tragic happened. I remember one story they found out someone was downloading child porn, they arrested this guy, turns out it was his neighbor. The original guy arrested didn’t lock his wifi. Now, maybe the cops could have sat outside to see if the wifi was locked or not. I am all for police who protect us, but something needs to be done about those who half- tail their job.
