Lil’ Mo welcomes her fourth child

Proving that true love will stand the test of time (if you’re willing to be patient), singer Cynthia “Lil’ Mo” Bryant and husband Phillip Bryant welcomed their fourth child, a son, on Tuesday. The happy couple named their bundle of joy Jonah Maddox-Phillip Bryant. He came into the world on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Jonah weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz and measured 20 1/4 inches long, according to Black Celeb Kids blog. Congrats to Mo and Phillip whose other children makes a total of 2 boys and 2 girls!

From BCK:

Lil’ Mo, who is currently promoting her fourth LP entitled “P.S. i Love Me”, recently said of her pregnancy, “I think I put a spell on my womb when I said every time I put out an album a baby is sure to be made. My whole movement is the whole i Love ME theme, so when my husband Phillip Bryant and I found out we were preggers with baby number 4, we knew the spell had come true. We and our other 3 are all excited and ready for baby number 4, which is a boy!! So 2 boys and 2 girls; Sweet I’ve got my balance lol[sic].”

“P.S. i Love Me” is currently available on iTunes.

No Cali, I heard something new while listening to an interview. At first they were discussing how it began and then they were talmbout how it wasn’t introduced properly to the black community because it was known as the “gay white man disease”. ANd then I began to think, Yep-that’s sure how they introduced it, BUT what if they had introduced it to all differently, Anywhoo it was thought provoking  IMO of course.

Cali, did you know that you can’t prevent herpes even with a condom? I know you have I’m just messing….

      THE LOTTERY

09:00 PM Endgame: Aids In Black America
      Episode # 3017

Every 10 minutes, someone in the U.S. contracts HIV. Half are black. Thirty years after the discovery of the AIDS virus among gay white men, nearly half of the one million people in the United States infected with HIV are black men, women and children. “If Black America was a country unto itself, it would have the 16th worst epidemic in the world,” says Phill Wilson, head of the Black AIDS Institute. “Endgame: AIDS in Black America” is an exploration of one of the country’s most urgent, preventable health crises. The film traces the history of the epidemic through the experiences of extraordinary individuals who tell their stories. People like Nel, a 63-year-old grandmother, who married a deacon in her church and later found an HIV diagnosis tucked into his Bible; Tom and Keith, who call themselves “Bornies,” survivors who were children born with the virus in the early 1990s; and Jovante, a high school football player who didn’t realize what HIV meant until it was too late. From Magic Johnson to civil rights pioneer Julian Bond, from pastors to health workers, people on the front lines tell moving stories of the battle to contain the spread of the virus, and the opportunity to finally turn the tide of the epidemic. Written, produced an directed by Renata Simone, the producer of the 2006 Frontline series, “The Age of AIDS.”

Is Black in America supposed to in form us? Make us look like whiners? Inform the masses, are the masses even watching? Why does the host look Hispanic? Will people truly learn from this? How did Jovante not know what AIDS was until it was too late? Why is Magics virus now undetectable? Ill be watching though.
