Once in the child support system if you fall behind for ANY reason, they can take your drivers license, tax refunds, paychecks, hell they can throw you behind bars and make you lose your job. So I support men who would rather pay directly than go through court, HOWEVER, that only works with men who are actually committed to doing what they say they will do and are on good respectful terms with the mother. Cause men and women will take advantage of a good thing just to hurt the other person. Which is why either way you get receipts and you stay on top of your business. I think she may have previously told Scrapples that he can have the couch, cuz if I’m not mistaken, when he walked in, he either stated or asked if he could get the couch she said he could have. Ion know. Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t.
Late as usual but whatevs. For the record in almost all states you have to be at least 60-90 days behind before ANY enforcement remedies will take place, this includes DL suspension, Passport, etc. To go to jail you have to be YEARS behind so if someone is worried about THAT then they already know how they are = trifling.
Secondly, they were living together, so that is probably why she was taking him off CS and would have agreed to do so b/c you cannot receive CS when you are together and IN THE HOME (and reporting this to them) together so hell yeah she should think twice about taking him off since they aren’t together nor living together.
Thirdly, it’s not all about drama and the system. It just makes it clean and easier. Honestly, as a former Child Support case worker it’s probably the BEST thing a non-custodial parent can do (put themselves on CS) b/c it cuts down on all the sillyness, drama and you should also get a visitation order so if you can’t pay (and by the way if you lose your job, get demoted, etc you CAN ABSOLUTELY get a modified order and have the amount lowered, even down to zero) the mother doesn’t restrict you from seeing the kids, b/c you still have a right to see them even if you aren’t paying. The reason most men/women are pissy about the system is b/c they haven’t done what they needed to do and try to dodge CS rather than handling it like adults. If you don’t call CS and let them know you need a modification b/c you lost your job how the hell do you expect to get it? The same way if no one requests a case to be opened (unless they’re on welfare) it won’t be.

I also understand men not wanting to be placed on child support. Once in the child support system if you fall behind for ANY reason, they can take your drivers license, tax refunds, paychecks, hell they can throw you behind bars and make you lose your job. So I support men who would rather pay directly than go through court, HOWEVER, that only works with men who are actually committed to doing what they say they will do and are on good respectful terms with the mother. Cause men and women will take advantage of a good thing just to hurt the other person. Which is why either way you get receipts and you stay on top of your business. Aversion to the child support system is cool if you can handle things without it however using that as a way to not take care of your responsibilities is trifling

In MY opinion, and MY opinion only, I think that if the mother and father are not together and have decided to go their separate ways, whomever is the custodial parent SHOULD receive state support from the other parent, no matter if it’s the mother or the father. If Diddy’s rich ass can be placed on child support (and you know he’s good for it) then who the fugg does Scrappy think he is to be removed? It doesn’t matter if Erica once had a possible agreement with him or not, the point is that shyt has changed and now she wants to keep him on it. He shouldn’t have a problem with it in my opinion. Him being a good father or a shytty father has NOTHING to do with his financial support for his child, in my opinion the two subjects are not even related…

If you never go to court, you never have to deal with child support…typically if you choose the right partner and things don’t work out, you won’t need the court’s assistance…most times I’ve heard of child support drama is when one party is just plain trifling

Late as usual but whatevs. For the record in almost all states you have to be at least 60-90 days behind before ANY enforcement remedies will take place, this includes DL suspension, Passport, etc. To go to jail you have to be YEARS behind so if someone is worried about THAT then they already know how they are = trifling.
Secondly, they were living together, so that is probably why she was taking him off CS and would have agreed to do so b/c you cannot receive CS when you are together and IN THE HOME (and reporting this to them) together so hell yeah she should think twice about taking him off since they aren’t together nor living together.
Thirdly, it’s not all about drama and the system. It just makes it clean and easier. Honestly, as a former Child Support case worker it’s probably the BEST thing a non-custodial parent can do (put themselves on CS) b/c it cuts down on all the sillyness, drama and you should also get a visitation order so if you can’t pay (and by the way if you lose your job, get demoted, etc you CAN ABSOLUTELY get a modified order and have the amount lowered, even down to zero) the mother doesn’t restrict you from seeing the kids, b/c you still have a right to see them even if you aren’t paying. The reason most men/women are pissy about the system is b/c they haven’t done what they needed to do and try to dodge CS rather than handling it like adults. If you don’t call CS and let them know you need a modification b/c you lost your job how the hell do you expect to get it? The same way if no one requests a case to be opened (unless they’re on welfare) it won’t be.
