Love & Hip Hop Star Considered Taking Her Own Life
Joseline Hernandez, the tragically androgynous star of Love & Hip Hop’s Atlanta spin-off series says she considered suicide when online bullying became too much to bear.
In an interview with blogger Jasmine Brand, Joseline spoke on the speculation surrounding her gender, and why she released nude photos and videos of herself:
I was stressed out. I was wrong for doing that. I shouldn’t have never did that, that was my past but that was the first thing that i thought about. I just wanted people to leave me alone. They were just basically bullying me…people just really, they just don’t care… that’s how people end up killing themselves, because of people. I didn’t have to take it to that level.
JASMINE BRAND: [Producer Mona Scott-Young] was not pleased. Is everything smoothed out between you and the producers?
“I’m pretty sure she was upset about it, I apologized to her. I was wrong for doing it, and we talked about it..gotta move on.”
Joseline said she learned to cope with the stress by taking pride in her over-sexualized, androgynous image:
I’m starting to take it as a compliment because they say only that men that turn into women are perfect. And I am perfect. I have a perfect face. I have the perfect body. I have the perfect everything – I don’t have a flaw on me. I really started noticing I’m 100% woman… It’s really like, I can’t even begin… I’ve never even heard that before. I have men give me everything I’ve ever wanted, and I’ve never had a problem with people looking at me that type of way. It’s crazy to me. Do you not see all this greatness? I don’t understand, I’m confused. I’m beautiful and a lot of women would pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to look like me. You know, I work out a lot.. take care of my body and I love how I look. And hey whoever don’t like it, they can stop looking! But I know they not, cause they love it too.
How did you meet Stevie J?
“I met him at the strip club through another friend, another guy we both know; but then from there I met him at the studio a second time, but originally it was at the strip club… I am loyal to Stevie and I do owe him. He’s done a lot for me; he’s changed my life. I mean I’m just a real person; he changed my life… If it was not for Stevie, I would still be in the strip club and the reason why is because I was not ready to leave. Even though I know I have talent and even though I’m beautiful and I could do what I wanted to, I wasn’t about to stop doing that because I was making so much money. When you’re making $2,ooo to $3,ooo a night and you’re 23 24 years old, you don’t wanna stop doing that–just to try [and] make it in this industry that is so hard to do. So I owe him a lot… Whether or not Stevie and I work out, or anything… I’m still gonna be his first forever, and still gonna owe him everything because that’s just how I am. I feel that way.”

“The church was being very careful as it helped Tom find a new wife. Although Cruise and the church were successful keeping that quiet at the time, it was only after he and Nicole split up in 2000 that Cruise gradually began getting back into Scientology in a big way,” he said.
“By 2004, he was very gung-ho, and the process for finding him a new wife, this one approved by the church, was under way,” he said.
Ortega, who has been covering Scientology since 1995, said he has interviewed hundreds of people about the history of the church — an institution where Cruise ranks second or third in command, according to celebrity biographer Andrew Morton, author of “Tom Cruise: An Authorized Biography.”
Morton has reported several details that support Ortega’s version of events. In an article published today on the gossip website Celebuzz, Morton claims that, before settling on Holmes, Cruise was smitten with “Modern Family” star Vergara and arranged for an introduction by fellow Scientologist Will Smith. Cruise, Morton writes, had “casually suggested that Vergara join him on a trip to the Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood,” but the actress balked at the religion, finding it “cloying and suffocating.” One could argue that Vergara failed her audition.
With other actresses, Cruise needed no such personal introductions. Cruise reportedly met both Johansson and Holmes on a different sort of audition — when they tried out for a role in “Mission Impossible III,” which Cruise produced. Johansson was initially slated to co-star in the film, but she dropped out after Cruise allegedly forced Scientology literature on her. Holmes didn’t get the role (which eventually went to Michelle Monaghan), but began dating Cruise — whom she had admired for years — shortly thereafter. As bizarre as Cruise’s dating tactics may seem, a source who knows the couple said Cruise was “completely in love with Katie” and that his intentions were well-meaning.
“Does [Cruise] have people who date him sign nondisclosure agreements? I don’t know for a fact, but it wouldn’t surprise me, as I’m sure a lot of high-profile celebrities do this,” said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “Does that mean it’s a marriage contract? Absolutely not. Do I think Katie is legally bound not to tell certain things? Probably.”
Holmes understood from the beginning that Scientology would always be Cruise’s top priority, according to the insider. “The church is very involved in their lives and has been from the beginning. Katie was aware of this and she willingly went into this marriage, so to act like she’s some kind of victim is somewhat insincere.”
Though Holmes, 33, and Cruise, 49, are likely to remain mum as their divorce unfolds, one convincing argument against the contract rumor has come from Holmes herself. Just a few things:
Joseline: her face is the LAST thing I see that makes me thinks she was born a man. He is VERY pretty but HE is still a HE. Look at the way he/she sits, walks…look at her shoulders. Now women can have broad shoulders but hers/his go straight across, no dip, nada. Her body is completely made! Breasts look like they are gonna pop right out the skin. Maybe cause I’ve seen PLENTY of men pass for women in LA….but he/she will never convince me he/she is a woman until he/she walks around preggo…and not a Beyonce prenancy either…..
As far as the show being scripted cause Mimi can’t be that dumb??? I beg to differ. It may be scripted but it ain’t because of how she acts and how whack we may think Stevie J is. He has dough, that’s enough to make a lot of chicks stay through much worse. I’ve seen it done for ninjas who only have d**k and and diseases to hand out….some bishes are just STUPID…and she’s one of em.
