Rihanna gets plastered after attending grandmother’s funeral
Singer Rihanna fell off the wagon just hours after attending her beloved Gran Gran Dolly’s funeral in her native Barbados on Tuesday. Clara “Dolly” Brathwait, 80, passed away in New York after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Poor Rihanna drunk tweeted a pic of herself on her Twitter page Tuesday night. “I had to!!! Sorry granny,” she slurred. The 24-year-old former alcoholic prided herself on going months without being carried out of a nightclub.
The Bajan beauty wore a little black dress, a Celine handbag and strappy heels. She also wore high top Converse Chuck Taylors.
Rihanna kept herself busy for the last few months creating and shooting her new reality show in London, England. The novice fashion designer will follow 12 fashion designer hopefuls in Styled to Rock which will premiere in August.

I find this not funny. DaddyDub was sober 18 years and he fell off the wagon when his mom died 6 years ago and has been off every since. So I feel the pain this young lady is going through.

When someone passes in my family we have a “sit up” where all the family gets together for at least 2 days before the funeral we have a blast!!! everybody brings food, alchol etc it’s like a big family renioun. Chit that’s the ONLY time all my fam get’s together in ONE PLACE is when somebody dies

I’m only like 2 years older than Rih Rih but when I see her I just see a lost little girl…
When my granna passed it was HORRIBLE. SHEWWWW. DaddyDub was living with me at the time, he is the oldest so he had to get his azz HOME (3 states away) STAT cause no arrangements could be made without him…he had just had open heart surg. I had to get myself together, make arrangements for my daughter to stay behind, drive 11 hours cause he couldn’t drive…that ish was ROUGH.
Why does everything have to go on Twitter.
How exactly do you slur a tweet?? And falling off the wagon would imply that she had previously been on the wagon. I won’t knock her for how she chooses to grieve though… drinking is actually pretty common

It’s not about Rihanna getting drunk. She’s legal and it’s how she seems to handle most things, good and bad.
It’s not even about her putting it on Twitter. I’m guilty of sharing too much and be stone cold sober.

We (me and my cousins and our dads) got cussed out at least once in the span of 4 days by her 3 surviving sibs.
Oldest great auntie who ended up outliving everybody… cussed my dad OUT first night; at the funeral home…for trying to have someone drive her home. She was 86 and still driving…a big azz OJ Simpson/Al Cowlings Bronco

Great Aunt: Boy..satcho azz DOWN someplace. How in the FUGG did I get here? I drove. How do I get around on a daily? I drive. See yall in the morning. For breakfast. At my house. At SIX A.M.

I so sympathize with her I lost my dad 2 years ago and I am still not dealing with it well. Hopefully she will bounce back and realize it is not helping her it is hurting her but I can definitely relate..
