Sorry men; Toccarra is off the market
According to celebrity photographer Thad of Exclusiveaccess.net, model Tocarra Jones partied with her new man Bryant Mckinnie (offensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens) at Cameo’s on South Beach Tuesday night. Apparently Bryant and Tocarra have been an item for months. Tocarra was previously paired with Jason Newsome, winner of Ultimate Merger 2.
Tocarra, 31, and Bryant, 32, actually came out to help their friend, promoter Cyrena (of Miami Good Life) celebrate her birthday. They enjoyed a performance by rapper Chief Keef (not pictured) during Cameo’s Lap Dance Tuesdays.
Reality TV personality Somoya Reece (pictured above right) also came through to help Cyrena celebrate.
Much was written about Tocarra’s successful weight loss regimen, but the weight has slowly come back. This seemed to bother Tocarra who didn’t want any pictures taken of her and her boo together. But we all know that big men prefer thick, juicy women with thunder thighs (think Tamar Braxton and Vince).

Eric Benet has responded to the backlash about his “Redbone Girl” track saying that “haters” are being racist towards lighter skinned chicks. Deets inside……….
Singer Eric Benet has publicly responded to criticism he’s received from fans regarding his “Redbone Girl” track featuring Lil’ Wayne. The song appears on his 6th studio album The One.
Some folks are a bit pissy that he’s singing the praises of a “lighter” skinned chick and Lil’ Wayne co-signing and saying things like “I like the long hair, thick redbone … I like ‘em light-skinned, lighter than a feather…” surely isn’t helping.
Though he kicks off the track saying he loves ALL women….folks are taking issue. Too sensitive? Or should he have been addressed just as people did?
Eric spoke about the backlash to a radio station saying,
“I think it’s its own form of racism. I did a song called “Chocolate Legs’ about my experience with a dark-skin lady. There was no anger or uproar of ‘how dare you.’ So ‘Redbone Girl’ is one song about one experience about a girl who happens to be light-complected, but there was quite an uproar.”
Despite the controversy, Eric thinks the song will create a discussion around issues of race in this country. He said,
“I think the fact that we are talking about it, it’s an issue,” he said. “Now it makes me, on my next record, want to talk about an experience with an Asian girl. What I was trying to do as a songwriter is talk about the beauty of all. One at a time. The fact that it’s so sensitive, we need to talk about it.”

Seems like we are the only group that has racism against each other as far as who is light skin vs dark skin. Really? Thats just like women trying to down those who choose not to go natural. Going natural is not becoming to everyone. Some people should actually try something different, its not for EVERYBODY. So there’s the divide with women who are natural vs those that get relaxers. I have seen too many specials of skin complexion issues in countries such as the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Belize, China….and even Mexico has an issue b/c most of their tv personalities are fairer skinned. it’s well known that skin complexion is an issue in almost every race b/c of what people think is acceptable. Only folks that wanna be darker are white folks….oh the irony. I for one, live for my summer tans
