Married Atlanta Pastor Arrested for Allegedly Infecting Women With HIV Virus
A handsome, charismatic preacher was busted recently for allegedly passing the HIV virus to unsuspecting female church members during sexual liaisons.
Pastor Craig Lamar Davis, who is married, is the former pastor of Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta, where he preached rousing sermons and dispensed advice to lonely women. But Pastor Davis was allegedly passing on more than advice and counseling in his role as a spiritual leader.

The pastor was arrested for reckless conduct after police found that he was sleeping with several women with whom he was not married. A woman by the name of Ronita McAfee says that she met the pastor on Facebook and began sleeping with him.
Ronita says that she became concerned when one of the pastor’s ex-girlfriends called her to say that she had HIV. She claims that the pastor then counseled her … and told her to get tested. Davis then says that she noticed that the pastor himself was not interested in getting tested, even though she had also contracted HIV. This is what prompted her to seek out a warrant for his arrest.
According to public records, Pastor Lamar was booked into the Fulton County jail in July for disorderly conduct in 2 separate counties. He was released on bond.

2012 numbers aren’t out yet with the highest HIV rates. In 2011 it was #1 Miami, #2 Baton Rouge, #3 Jacksonville, #4 NYC, #5 D.C. Specifically for Black women, so far in 2012, it’s #1 Baltimore/DC, #2 Atlanta, #3 Newark, #4 NYC, #5 Raleigh. In 2012, people still think if we’ve been dating “awhile”, if the person is attractive, if they have an MBA, if they’re physically fit— they must be clean. And surely, married men use condoms when they creep. Chile please.
Celibacy/Abstinance is where it’s at
Anyhoo, I saw elsewhere that some married people forego asking for std testing during their annual check-ups. 
I really hate this happened to these ladies, but I am having a difficult time having sympathy for them because they KNOWINGLY slept with a married man. Not that anyone deserves this; however, it’s the chance you take when playing around without protection.
As for his ‘position’ as a Pastor. That means absolutely NOTHING! It’s so sad because some Church people, especially black women, get caught up in titles and positions and totally negate character.
The only REAL victim in this situation is his wife! I pray she’s not infected

so can the police subpoena medical records? i’ve always wondered how they can prove that the person they arrested knowingly gave others aids/hiv/etc, because i was under the impression “patient doctor confidentiality” would stop them from getting the evidence they would need.

How were they tricked when they knew he was married and apart of the church as a leader. They are just as sick as he is to sleep with him and act as if nothing was wrong until the truth came out. I wonder how many Sundays they walked up to his wife and said nice things to her while thinking I had your man just last night or last week. The really crazy part is sometimes when people are infected they have a since of denial and how sick it may seem they carry on as normal when it comes to sex and relationships of that nature. If you are positive or negative for that matter you are wrong for not using protection, there is no reason not to. HIPPA goes out of the window in case like this, if in fact he was given positive test results he should have been required to contact the women or men that he was in contact with. This holds true in Charlotte, NC you will be given a social worker and everything that will follow you to the end of the earth to get that information and they let you know if you have sex with someone or even a causal relastionship and do not tell them about your condition you will go to jail.

Good Morning roses. I believe that the HIV/STI/STD rate is higher because society is starting to force sexuality down our throats at a younger and younger age. Once upon a time, just showing a little leg and cleavage was enough. Now you have teenagers having twerking contests in walmart and passing up college just to be the next biggest video girl. Then you have innocent men and women who keep their amount of sexual partners and conquests limited, but lay down with partners who arent doing the same. There’s really no form of sex ed in high school anymore (public hs’ in nyc in particular) to counteract all this “tolerance” and “acceptance” and outright sexuality on tv the internet and everywhere else. Thats like introducing someone to crack without telling them what it can do to you. Then when there’s help available (free condoms in eeeeevvvvveeerrryyyy dr office, free testing n treatments at clinics) some people are too proud/ashamed/stupid to get tested or treated n go on spreading their sickness. People today are more worried about whats on their outside (weaves, buttshots, breast implants, etc) and not concerned enough with their mental n physical health. where is this world headed to?

true, but that just goes to show how ill informed some people really are. There are super strains of things now, as well as a lot of new diseases. Some are incurable all together. Whats bad is that even people who take precautions are still at risk because of other reckless or careless people.
