Morning Glory: Rihanna
I’m not sure if Rihanna still has fans on this blog. The troubled 24-year-old singer was spotted posing for a Barbados tourism ad campaign on the east coast of the Caribbean island Thursday. At least Barbados still considers her as a spokesmodel because she was born there, but cosmetics brand Nivea has washed their hands of her. Turned off by her rampant drug use and bad girl persona, Nivea’s new president said he didn’t know how Nivea was ever associated with Rihanna.

The people are friendly and the children just want to be able to go to school and learn things, but the island is so poor, that it makes it hard.
Folks I know donated books and school supplies to this island. It made me sad to think of how our US children here take our education system for granted
