VH1 Pulls ‘Ev and Ochit’ from programming schedule
I guess the domestic violence groups got to VH1. According to Joi Marie, of Joimarie.com:
“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,” the network said in a statement to ABC News Radio.
Don’t worry gullible viewers, VH1 will wait for the uproar to die down then they will reschedule the premiere.. probably in 3 weeks.

This show ain’t coming back. It is not the first VH1 show to be axed after filming wrapped, but before the season started. Member that blond chick from Charm School I think it was? I think her name was Meagan. A contestant on her show killed his girl and maybe himself. That was the end of Meagan’s reality career. The show never aired and she never got another one and she wasn’t even at fault.

You do know that Ev fought VH1 tooth and nail to get a raise to 7k per episode don’t you? They have 10 episodes per season. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Ev (the highest paid chick on that cheap azz show) is making 70k each season. Sorry to say it but they will be around for some time. Reality shows require 1/3 of the budget scripted shows do to produce and often net 30% more profit than scripted shows.
The problem is that people keep calling for change but yet they are not standing ground in viewership. So many quality scripted shows come out yet many do not garner the rating. If you look at the start of every fall there are probably 30 or so scripted shows that come out and you’d be lucky if more than 8 make it for another season whereas there are about the same number of reality shows produced yearly and youd be lucky if 5 gets cancelled.
The American public always wants change may it be entertainment or real life but sadly people do not stand their ground to make those changes occur

TV networks don’t make their money based on having high ratings they make money based on advertisers who buy commercial time because of high viewership.
