Songbird Alcia Keys heard your very vocal complaints about her Girl On Fire album cover.

Just moments ago, Keys released the new cover art for her single cover. The cover features an elegantly coiffed Keys wearing her short hair slicked back. The single cover is a complete contrast to her conservative, school marm album cover. We’ve got a winner!

    R.I.P. Chris Lighty

    The entire music industry is saddened by the news that Violator Entertainment executive Chris Lighty has taken his own life. Industry executive Jeff Robinson made the announcement on his Twitter page today.

    Lighty, 44, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the NY Daily News.

    “Law enforcement sources said Lighty — who divorced his wife, Veronica, last year — may have been dealing with financial struggles, including owing about $5 million to the IRS.”

    Androgynous reality TV star Joseline Hernandez, of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, joined cast members Mimi Faust and Stevie J on a show called ‘Kandi Koated Nights’ last night. According to loyal reader Bird, Mimi faust “shut the interview down completely.” Bird added that Mimi seemed plastered, and Stevie was “totally subdued” when Mimi arrived on the set.
