PICS: Premiere Watch Party for HGTV’s “Property Virgins”

Thanks to Saptosa Foster, of The 135th Street Agency, for my personal invite to attend last night’s Premiere Watch Party in Atlanta for HGTV’s “Property Virgins” featuring Egypt Sherrod.

Last night, television and radio personality Egypt Sherrod celebrated the Season 9 premiere of her HGTV show “Property Virgins” with friends and family at Atlanta’s plush Atlantic high-rise building in Atlantic Station.

Guests — which included Bobbcat Films’ Roger Bobb, tv producer Shante Paige, Sandye Lomax (Beauty Fetish); Egypt’s husband, DJ Fadelf (pictured above with Egypt); the “Property Virgins” production crew Cineflix, and a host of local journalists — munched on hors d’ oeuvres as they watched the popular real estate show.

After the broadcast, the crowd shared their well-wishes for Egypt (who also serves as midday host at Atlanta’s V103 radio station) with a champagne toast and cake.

@Intense She has been the host for the last 2-3 yrs I believe. I remember when I started watching the show again because I noticed she was the new host.

Rapper Beanie Sigel — famous for his work with Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg — was arrested early this morning in Philly for drugs and gun possession … 2 weeks before he’s supposed to turn himself in to prison for a separate crime.

As we previously reported, Sigel was sentenced to two years in the big house for failing to file tax returns for the years 2003, 2004, and 2005 — stiffing the IRS out of more than $700k in back taxes.

He was scheduled to be locked up in a couple weeks — but according to police, the rapper was busted this morning during a traffic stop … riding shotgun in a car filled with drugs, cash, and a gun.

Police claim the driver was carrying numerous prescription bottles, several pills wrapped in plastic bags in a cigarette pack, and marijuana.

Meanwhile, Sigel was allegedly carrying a bottle of codeine syrup with the label scratched off — as well as $4,650 in cash. Police claim they also found a gun in the center console.

Both Sigel and the driver are convicted felons prohibited from possessing a firearm.

The two were arrested and charged with gun and drug violations.

So glad she’s an ATL transplant now. She was the most boring Radio Personlity up north that it was _______ic. She tried to take Wendy’s 2-6 slot on WBLS but Chip or whatever his name was was not having it. Afternoon drive hosts has to be able to keep your attention. Not put our butts to sleep. She’s beautiful. The personality is not enough for me.
