Publicity Stunt: Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco

I can’t stop laughing at these two fools! They will do anything to promote their wack reality show.

From TMZ.com:

Evelyn Lozada, one of the stars of VH1’s “Basketball Wives.”

Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada during an argument, says the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and when cops arrived to the scene, Lozada had lacerations on her forehead.

Our sources say Lozada has been at the hospital for several house and her injury required stitches.

According to our sources, the fight started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple’s Maserati and confronted Johnson about it. A verbal argument ensued.

We’re told at some point during the argument, Johnson head-butted Lozada. According to reports, Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.

Johnson is reportedly still in custody and wil have to go before a judge before he can be released.

Johnson and Lozada were married last month in Miami after Johnson proposed in November 2010 with a massive 10-carat diamond ring.

I was just thinking earlier how the Kardashians and the likes have sold their souls for pseudo fame. This is a stunt. They married in a foreign country. Did anyone ever see the marriage license? His mugshot looks like another walk through the hookah loung cuz them niglet looked high as hell.

I don’t think this is a PR stunt at all. Roger Goddell does NOT play and I do NOT see Chad risking his NFL career (esp. since he only has a few more yrs left to play) over a reality show. This incident is not going to get them anymore viewers people have already decided if they were/are watching or not. I will watch if it still airs but I was already planning on watching anyway.

That being said I still can’t believe either of them would tell the cops the fight was over a condom receipt I think we are missing way more to this story but it all makes for great drama. I also want to know who called the cops and when will TMZ be releasing that 911 call

It would be very stupid for them to do this for publicity considering the lasting effects being a woman beater have on people who are “celebrities.” didn’t Chad just sign a new contract with a new team? It sure was a stunt gone wrong. Johnson signed a contract for one year with the Dolphins for the league minimum salary. That means he stands to make way more money if the reality show is successful. He didn’t care about playing for the Dolphins. He already said — on camera — that he was going to be arrested soon. Plus, Evelyn is known for pulling stunts to boost ratings. How many times have we seen “fights” on reality shows and the police are called yet no one gets arrested? I’m sure Johnson and the show’s producers did not expect him to be arrested. But in the end, they really don’t care because they can earn millions if enough gullible viewers tune in to their wack show.

I don’t think he purposely expected to go to jail. It’s a reality show! What reality show cast member expects to go to jail when they fight? I love reality shows because honestly I have no life and honestly watch all TV shows. Yet I dont get in an uproar. I love SR and the blog’s sense of humor so I enjoy what they have to say and I think that is the majority of the Roses have to say.

Regardless of whether or not it was a publicity stunt another black man is sitting in a jail cell all for the love of material things this life have to offer and that is sad. Real or fake – Evelyn would be th new face of DV and will garner more fans.

On another note I was never a big Obama fan because I thought he was too young and inexperienced for office. I was a Hil supporter because the way I looked at it the Clintons took us out of hell once they were better equipped for the job; plus they had the contacts that honestly no newbie had. I dont usually pay attention to politics but today when I had a white MD tell me how scared he was now that Romey had Ryan with him that they will be the next President I had to stop and take stock. Honestly as much as many of us may not be pro-100 hes the better side of a coin and I hope somehow or the other people go out and get him back in office and dont let Romey/Ryan be in control for the next 4 years

Yeah after a while of chad/evelyn/ochocinco/chad johnson trending topics, it wasn’t even funny any more – publicity stunt or otherwise. it’s like okay, on to something serious and more pressing.

I think after a day and a half of hearing about this, a lot of people grew tired of the topic and being sucked into nonsense that has nothing to do with nothing. As for the election, those of us with parents near retirement or even if it’s you, I think we have to pay attn to the position these candidates are going to take as it relates to healthcare, medicare, medicaid, ss, etc. Things are truly getting uglier out here.

The old me would be like shit, I dont care who wins. But I dont want to find myself on the side of not taking some type action (voting) to stop something from happening or having a hand in making something happen.

I can’t be a hypocrite and pretend I wasn’t or am not amused by a lot of the reality nonsense. I am. But I dont live by it. Now I may have deep conversation on responses to Sandra’s POTUS or political posts, but I do read them. I think I’m using a mental health day Monday.

I agree! Say what you will about Chad, but he genuinely loves playing football and he’s one of the best…despite his recent shortcomings on the field. I don’t believe for a second that he would throw all of that away for a reality show.
