Video of Miami Dolphins coach firing Chad Johnson

Miami Dolphins coach sacked troubled NFL star Chad Johnson less than 24 hours after he was arrested for assaulting his wife, Evelyn Lozada.

Head coach Joe Philbin previously warned the arrogant wide receiver about his behavior after Johnson dropped multiple F-bombs during a media interview at the Dolphins training camp. During that same interview with HBO, Johnson, 34, said he would be arrested soon.

On Tuesday, Lozada, 42, filed in Miami to dissolve her 40-day marriage to Johnson — though no marriage certificate is on public file in Miami.

In his first public statement since his arrest, Johnson said he loved Lozada to death. Both Johnson and Lozada have serious issues that should be resolved in private. Hopefully we won’t see either of them on television again.

Yeah the only problem is that he still might have to deal with an NFL suspension for the altercation that happened. But at the most its 1 or 2 games since he’s never been in trouble with the law.

According to court records obtained by TMZ, Johnson was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery in L.A. on February 7, 2000 … just before he began playing football for Oregon State University.
Sources close to the case tell us the victim was his GF at the time … and she told police the football star had slapped her in the face after he accused her of cheating on him.
According to court records, Johnson — 22 years old at the time — pled no contest … and the court found him guilty of domestic battery

At 34 years old you have a lot of options…He has enough years in the NFL to retire..I think 10 is needed. With the right TEAM ( his team (agent, PR,Atty etc) ..not a NFL Team) he can turn this around into something positive and he will continue to make $$$ in some capacity.
