Androgynous singer Miguel put his pedicured foot down when he noticed a group of suspect men crowding the front of the stage at a recent concert. According to BET.com, “the R&B star recently hit the stage at Joe’s Pub to celebrate the three-stage-roll-out of his sophomore album, Kaleidoscope Dream.”

During a break in his set Miguel glanced at the front row and said, “May I have a water on the stage, please, and more women in the front… “There’s too many men up here. With all due respect, fellas, I’m not playing.”

There’s no word on whether the men gave up their spots to the women in the audience.

The R&B singer has been plagued by gay rumors since his debut album, All I Want Is You, made him an overnight star in 2010.

Fed up with the gay rumors, Miguel took to his Twitter page last year and went off on “ugly chicks” who think he’s gay because they can’t have him. The Twitter assault on Miguel’s manhood came just days after the “Adorn” singer introduced his sexy LSLH girlfriend at his manager’s birthday party.
