A 21-year-old former Yale student is under arrest for making threats in a LeBron James post on ESPN boards. Eric Yee reportedly said he would kill kids who were planning to purchase LeBron’s new basketball shoes that went on sale last month for $315.

Yee also threatened violence similar to the theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, where 12 people died and 58 were injured.

“What he was posting had nothing to do with sports,” ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys told the Ventura County Star. “We closely monitor the message boards and anytime we get a threat, we’re alerting law enforcement officials.”

Yee was taken into custody at his parents’ Santa Clarita home which overlooks an elementary school and a middle school. Police found several guns in the Yee home. Yee is being held on $1 million dollars bond, the LA Times reports.
