Memphitz Files Multi-million Dollar Lawsuit Against K.Michelle and VH1

Last month, a source tipped off Sandrarose.com that Antonia Wright’s husband, Memphitz, was about to file a lawsuit against pseudo-singer K Michelle and VH1 for defamation of character. After giving the aforementioned individuals a chance to settle out of court, the lawsuit was filed today.

According to his attorney, Memphitz, real name Mickey Wright, is suing K. Michelle for defamation of character after she claimed he spent her entire recording budget and beat her to within an inch of her life. K. Michelle hurled the accusations as a cast member on VH1’s hit show Love & Hip Hop.

Included in the lawsuit are Mona Scott Young’s company Monami Entertainment and VH1’s parent company Viacom. Memphitz is asking for $1 per viewer of the episodes in which K. Michelle brought up his name. At a minimum, that’s $3-8 million — if he wins the suit.

As you probably already know, Mona Scott attempted to cast Memphitz in Love & Hip Hop Atlanta which would have eliminated any threats of lawsuits arising from the show — at least against VH1.

But Memphitz wisely declined to participate in the show.

Memphitz married Tiny & Toya star Antonia Wright in 2011 after a brief courtship.

In 2010, Toya’s daughter, Reginae, (by rapper Lil Wayne) was overheard saying Memphitz threatened to smack up a youngster who pushed Reginae at school. Toya vigorously denied the story that Memphitz threatened the young boy.

I didn’t know she was out but if she is it doesn’t surprise me. I’ve never been a fan of the OMG Girlz and Reginae is still kinda young. Plus if she does come out and do anything musically it’ll likely be on her father’s label where he can keep an eye on her and make sure everything is on the up and up. At least that’s what I would do if I was in his shoes and my child wanted to be famous

This case will not hold up in court. You can not sue upon assumption. He is gonna get his self in more trouble because he is admitting to it by coming forth. She never said his name. Mona has enough sense than to let that girl say his name. Now what K. Michelle can do is counter sue for harassment because they are saying her name and mentioning her in tweets.
