Paris Hilton: “Gays are disgusting, most of them probably have AIDS”

It was just a matter of time before Paris Hilton did something stupid to turn the spotlight back onto her. Not that she hasn’t been trying to get attention all along.
But nothing gets the attention of the press more than a pseudo-celebrity disparaging the gays.
Paris Hilton is catching heat for comments she made about gay men during a recent cab ride. Paris, the spawn of the multi-millionaire hotel magnate, supposedly didn’t know she was being recorded.
“Gay guys are the horniest people in the world, the Hilton heiress can be heard saying. “They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.”
The comments were made during a Sept. 7 cab ride in NYC, TMZ reports. Hilton’s team claims the cab driver secretly recorded the audio while Paris was having a conversation with a gay friend who was also in the cab.
Of course she was joking, but the media is running with it because celebrity news has been slow lately.
From TMZ:
During the conversation, a man can be heard bringing up Grindr — a popular social web site that gay men sometimes use to find sexual partners.
Hilton responds, “Ewwww … gay guys are the horniest people in the world. Most of them probably have AIDS … I would be so scared if I was a gay guy … you’ll like die of AIDS.”
Hilton’s rep has released a statement … saying, “Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease.”
“As she was being shown the website her comments were in reference to those people promoting themselves on the site. The cab driver who recorded this, only provided a portion of the conversation.”
“It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about all gays.”
“Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”

She kept on throwing her Harvard “degree” around until finally someone asked her for the reciepts….Basically anyone with an extra $40,000 a semester can get this “certificate” from Harvard….. smh

I think everyone is entitled to their beliefs and thoughts so I’m not ragging on you. When I read the bible and I have read different versions the only thing I come out with is LOVE, which I was also taught GOD is love. I know that love and hate can not occupy the same space. (not saying you said you hated gays or anything just stating).
I guess I’m in a space where this topic is so trival. It’s homeless people, kids being molested in church, boy scouts, at school, people dying from illnesses that can be prevented, people dying for the color of their skin, kids not able to eat and adults too. I guess who you lie with is small compared to world.
I also know that the presence of GOD is much more than we can comprehend and to say God does not Like this/hates thats kind of makes him small and puts in on our level which I think is disrespectful. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “JUDGEMENT” AND “CORRECTION.”
We are slowly but surely becoming a world where it is frowned upon to state the Word of God if it is not aligned with popular belief. It’s scary.
And for the record, in biblical text, “JUDGEMENT” MEANT “PUT TO DEATH.” The biblical text that references “Anyone without sin throw the first stone” was centering a story where a woman was about to be put to DEATH for her sins.
Stating a sin = correction
Issuing punishment for sin = judgement
Yes, God/Christ is LOVE…but God is also about obedience. All sin separates us from God. We have grace, but this life is not about abusing that grace. “Faith without works is dead” Just try to life the best life you can for the Lord so that others can seek Him.

@lovely one great explanation.i get so tired of people quoting that do not judge scripture. I wish I couldve been in on the conversation earlier. Im a christian that dont mind talking about the Lord. If we can discuss sex everyday but not God, we cant wonder how we got in the shape the world is in. Anywhoo it was a good discussion and I dont think anyone should be banned toda y sandra ; )
